Chapter 194 Doppelganger
Firen Village. White skeletons with deep red eyes.
They were walking towards the Firenin School in increasing numbers.
A warning signal sounded in the sky. Numerous yellow carp-shaped lights exploded. Boom!
All over the sky, yellow carp signaled the need for reinforcements.
At the Firenin School, many villagers who had set up temporary shelters saw the yellow carp signal.
One person shouted, pointing, "Yellow signal! Hurry, everyone! Prepare to flee. The enemy is about to attack again.
Hurry back to the school!"
People ran in panic, rushing into the Firenin School's territory.
The Firenin School's people didn't block them, but opened the gates to let the villagers back into the school.
Beyond that place, there was no safe place.
A Firenin School member rode a blue carp. A large number of them came out. Whoosh!
A blue light was flying towards the signaler.
A member of the Flairin Sect flew lazily.
"Sigh… One story just ended, and now there's a new one. Who sprinkled salt on this place's misfortune?"
The friend flying behind them laughed a little. "Heh heh, I guess I need to destroy the bad luck."
"That's true."
The other friend, flying with a group of equally large members of the same sect,
saw the enemy approaching. Over 100,000 red eyes were running towards the Flairin Sect.
The Flairin Sect was shocked by the number.
"This is crazy! How many are there? Why are there so many?!"
"This is shocking." So many red eyes, running in such a hurry. Thud, thud, thud.
"So many. These are the intruders?"
"Yes, besides these guys." There must be no other demons.
The Fierenin Sect members flew towards the skeletons, and bright, colorful lights shimmered across the ground. Boom, boom, boom, boom.
The battle began, the ground shaking, thump, thump, thump.
From the farthest corner, a large skeleton with a red eye ran towards the Fierenin Sect. Boom, boom, boom.
With its enormous size, it left a trail of footprints, thump, boom, boom.
A deafening shout resounded, "Watch out! A demon is approaching!"
The Fierenin Sect members began to form formations and establish boundaries, preparing to take down the large, white demon.
In the Silent Forest, gray trees and blue leaves shone with light. The surrounding trees were silent, but there was only silence.
White hands, made entirely of bone, emerged from the ground. Thump, thump, thump.
Numerous skeletons emerged from the ground.
Red eyes began to walk towards the Silent Forest.
A low-level Silent Forest curse began to cling to the skeletons' bodies.
The skeleton had no problem with the low-level forest curse.
The sound of footsteps echoed.
Underneath, a tremor erupted. Ting! Ting!
The ground shook. Ting! A short while later, the ground cracked open, and a large, white, bony hand the size of a house rose from the ground.
Whoosh!
The massive hand flew into the sky and swung down, striking a tree with a boom!
The ground caved in, leaving a bone handprint, imprinted with an eye.
The other hand rose from the ground. Boom! Ting!
The force of the hand's swing created powerful damage. Boom!
The red-eyed skeleton's head emerged from the ground. Boom!
The body began to rise from the ground. Boom! Boom!
As the midsection emerged from the ground, the ground continued to shake.
The tree shook with the skeleton's movement. Boom!
As time passed, the skeleton rose to a height as tall as a building.
The giant skeleton with red eyes stared straight into the distant, silent forest.
In the center of the silent forest, a figure with numerous blue eyes and blue leaves opened its eyes and gazed at the large, bony body.
Underneath a tree, a man sat, observing the changes in the trees behind him.
Beetho, who was writing music, asked, placing his quill on the ground.
The paper had musical notes on it.
"What's going on?"
Beetho asked curiously, sitting amidst the gray roots and the countless blue eyes.
"The chances of this happening are quite high,"
Beetho thought curiously. "What's going on?"
In a certain place, an old woman was walking with a man dressed entirely in black.
The old woman was walking amidst the many white skeletons lying on the ground.
This old woman was Sela. The watchtower guard, Foxy, the deceiver, the old woman who betrayed the Tenshin clan.
Sela smiled slightly, her white hair swaying in the wind.
The surrounding trees trembled from the tremors of something approaching.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!
Sela stopped walking. The other person leading her also stopped.
The two stopped and stared at the sky. The pitch-black sky was covered with only the moon.
"What do you think, Doppel? In this situation, besides that, is there anything else?"
The person who accompanied her didn't say much, still concealing his identity with all black.
"Never mind for now. We have to deal with Black. Let's forget about that. The others are starting to arrive."
Sela smiled slyly. "What a shame. Black's going to die anyway. Why don't we invite this person to be our teammate?"
Doppel stared at the blue moon.
Shortly, a loud noise sounded.
BOOM!
The ground ripped apart, the tremors capable of knocking people to the ground.
Sela looked up at the creature before her, not a trace of fear in her mind.
A large skeleton looked down at the ground covered in bone fragments.
The skeleton, as large as a building, clenched its right hand tightly and slammed down, attacking Sela. Whoosh!
Boom!
The right hand created a tremor and a gust of wind as it struck the ground.
The skeleton raised its right hand and saw Sela standing there waving, greeting the large skeleton.
"Wrong attack. Over here. I'm here. Come on, junior. You're disrespecting your senior."
The skeleton's left hand swung a punch down.
A gust of wind followed, like a rock crashing from a great height. Whoosh!
Boom!
The surrounding trees were crushed.
The doppelganger had disappeared from the giant skeleton's sight.
On the ground, Sela stood waving. "No, this way, junior. You're attacking in the wrong place."
The skeleton swung his right and left fists, alternating between them. Boom, boom, boom, boom.
Dust filled the ground.
The ground was cracked, so broken it was impossible to tell if this guy was digging a hole.
Boom, boom, boom.
Behind the skeleton, the doppelganger had reappeared, walking forward without stopping.
The giant skeleton couldn't keep his sight from the doppelganger.
The doppelganger moved forward unhurriedly, opening his mouth to speak.
"Let that thing go. Don't reveal yourself too much."
Sela emerged from nothing.
"Understood, Boss. By the way, do you know where the boss skeleton is over there? Doesn't that ability sound interesting?"
"I know, but I don't need to worry about it. That guy isn't part of the plan." And your offer is interesting, too.
"Really? Others would think you're as interested as I am. Would you like to talk to him?"
"We'll talk about that later."
The two of them walked forward, a loud bang behind them.
At the Seraph's rental house.
The Seraph, wide-awake, unmoved, stared at the white-eyed skeleton, clasping his hands together and pointing them towards the sky.
The Seraph couldn't sleep. Anyone who slept had a brain disorder.
[What are you worshipping here for? At least this is my rented house. Could you please go outside and do it?]
I doubt it's going to stop. Do I have to wait for the ritual to finish? Wait for help, I should hear the cries of people outside.
I'm lucky. I have to keep repeating this: Good luck, good luck, good luck...
]
And then the Seraph watched the skeleton's ritual closely.
