Chapter 156: The Tri-Colored Fish Technique
In the village of Fynren, a place under the moonlight, a girl in red is making a wish to the moon.
The surrounding air is cold, and it's nighttime. The sounds of running away are emanating from the villagers, who are starting to flee.
The Seraph, though desperate to escape, cannot, as his entire body is controlled by the gray roots.
Little Red extends both hands. A red-colored stick appears from her body, coming from her mouth.
Innards flow out, along with bright red blood, along with a stick.
A bright red stick made from the girl's bones appears on both hands.
It is a bone stick half the length of the girl's arm.
Red eyes appear from the bone stick's handle.
Little Red holds the bone stick in her right hand.
The red roots create a ladder for Little Red to stand on, forming a stage for some kind of event.
It's a square shape, with just enough space for the girl to stand still. If she took one step further, she would instantly fall off the stage.
The little girl was dressed in a red dress and a bone stick. Both her eyes were closed, her face covered in blood.
The girl's face broke into a smile, the wind whipping her around.
Seraph stood still, sensing the impending danger. "Senior, it seems like it's getting dangerous?" [Even though it's already dangerous, now that I think about it, the bad omen belongs to the girl, not the creatures that inhabit it.]
Seraph's body shot back. Pew!
The little girl raised both hands, like a conductor. If you don't know her, it's like holding a stick and moving it back and forth like a conductor. The conductor moves the stick back and forth, giving instructions to the music.
The little girl was about to play a song.
Because she had already said, "Let's play."
Song of Sound
The quiet place began to hear the sound of the wind blowing.
Red roots on the ground began to emerge, like mushrooms. But the mushrooms were actually red eyes. Eyes popped out of the ground.
She rocked back and forth, waiting for the music.
Little Red waved the bone stick once.
The ground beneath Seraph's feet, red laser beams shot out from the ground. Boom!
Seraph dodged, boom! Boom!
Three beams of red spotlights, powerful enough to penetrate, shot out from the ground. Boom!
Seraph flew at high speed, his expression calm. [As expected. With ghosts, of course. Why do I keep encountering these crazy creatures? Every one I've encountered has far surpassed my normal level. I'm still a normal person.
But now I have to deal with a battle of wizards. If I'd known this would be so exciting, I would have just washed the dishes. What a foolish choice, you idiot Seraph! What kind of intelligence do I have!?]
Seraph cursed himself inwardly for choosing the wrong path. If he'd chosen to wash the dishes, things would have been much easier.
Little Red waved the bone stick again. A red light shot up from the ground, aiming to kill Seraph. Pew pew pew!
Seraph dodged, with Kisen's help. Boom! Boom!
Seraph admired Kisen for dodging such a brutal attack.
"Excellent, senior Kisen!"
"No, I know what this thing's doing. I don't know why."
Seraph looked towards Red, seeing roots shooting up into the sky. Many roots flew up and spun around like a cloth wringing out water.
Many roots gathered together.
A multitude of red eyes moved.
Red eyes began to emerge from the ground.
Red waved the bone stick to play music, like conducting a band.
The bone sticks swung back and forth violently, signaling a frenzied performance.
Hundreds of red eyes created laser beams.
Shooting out a blinding red glow.
The red light flickered.
It was a beautiful sight, with Seraph as its target.
But Seraph saw death, like an arrow aiming to make a hole in his own body.
"Hell has come."
Kisen created a gray root. Gray roots formed a shield, absorbing the attack. Boom!
Red held up the bone tree into the sky.
Seraph looked up at the beautiful sky before his death and saw the red moon appear to have expanded in size. "Is there a red moon tonight?"
It wasn't a red moon, but a laser beam the size of a house, flying down. Pew!
Kisen created gray roots, an ancient tree, that shot up into the sky to take the attack. Boom!
The red beam quickly pushed Seraph Lin's body back. Boom!
The tree only held out for a moment. The laser beam crashed down and hit the ground. Boom!
A burst of red light lit up the area. Houses were engulfed in flames, with intermittent explosions.
The surrounding area became a battleground.
Houses were destroyed, but fortunately, the people around had managed to escape.
Seraph crashed into the house. Boom!
Seraph floated to the bed. Seraph's body only had a few wounds, nothing serious, like a fall from the stairs.
Seraph lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, illuminated by the moonlight.
[It's time for bed. Can we continue tomorrow?] Seraph was still playing, not that afraid of death.
Seraph was forced to stand up by Kisen.
Seraph stood up.
Little Red shot a red beam of light, exploding the house Seraph was in. Boom!
The house was blown away, but gray roots protected Seraph.
Seraph stood amidst the burning debris. In the distance, Little Red waved a bone stick.
The roots that had shot up into the sky began to sprout branches, as if preparing to create flowers. The ground was beginning to be covered with roots.
The red beams of light shot out, spreading in all directions, as if they didn't care where the target was.
Pew pew pew, boom pew pew.
A loud explosion rang out amidst the shaking of the bone stick. The girl in the red dress
Seraph asked Kisen, "It's time to escape, senior."
Seraph watched as a large tree the size of a building formed branches through the air.
Red leaves appeared on the branches, one after another. Two more appeared. More and more leaves began to appear. The red leaves continued to grow, filling the branches.
The trees filled the trees with leaves, accompanied by a deafening explosion.
The trees bore fruit, eye-shaped fruits. The number of fruit began to increase one by one.
The sound of flying came from the air, heading towards the red tree that Little Red had created. Over a thousand beams of light flew towards the red tree, and a blue barrier began to rise from the ground.
The numerous beams of light were hurriedly flying warriors, dressed in blue robes with three fish patterns. On the ground, more warriors were running.
People from the Firrenin School arrived. They saw a large, old man, around fifty years old, wearing the Firrenin School elder's robe, and many other elderly people.
Three people in blue fish-patterned robes surrounded Little Red.
The old man analyzed Little Red, seeing that Little Red had a red spiritual aura so strong it could be described as an immense pressure. However, it was only at the same level as the elders.
The old man was more interested in the tree behind the girl.
The eerie energy was so intense that just looking at it almost made him faint.
The spiritual energy began to unleash, and a red beam of light shot towards the elder. Pew pew pew pew.
More red beams of light flew towards him.
The old man remained motionless, standing in mid-air.
The people from the Firrenin Sect all used both hands to tap the ground.
A voice rang out, as the number of Firrenin Sect members was enormous. "Three-Colored Fish Technique."
