Chapter 152: The Copycat or Imitator
In Fynren Village
Seraph ran away from the place, to escape the trouble.
Seraph ran to a place where people were walking around.
The place was full of people, the sound of business.
It was so bustling it could be said to be suitable for another world.
Seraph ran along with the people, trying to blend in with the locals.
[Well, even though I don't know what's going on, I'll just leave. Why are these dangerous and troublesome people always bothering me!]
Kisen asked, seeing that the place was safe. "What should we do, junior? During the trial period, I suggest we go back to the original place. At least there'll be food for you to eat there, right?"
Seraph shook his head. "I don't think so." [If I go back, the people in the restaurant will probably scold me, even to the point of stomping on me, saying that the work is insufficient. How can it be insufficient when I see a plate full? How can this be insufficient work!?]
At the restaurant When Seraph disappeared, there was no dishwasher.
The old woman, the owner of the restaurant, started washing the dishes herself.
The old woman sat hurriedly washing dishes and looked toward the door.
It was opened.
A waiter walked in with a large number of plates.
"Please wash these. There are so many customers."
The old woman nodded and saw more plates being placed. The old ones weren't finished, and new ones were added.
"Sigh... Where's the dishwasher? I understand you're surprised by so many dishes. I should have hired more dishwashers."
The old woman, the owner of the restaurant, Grandma Nata, began washing the dishes that didn't seem to be running out.
Back at the same place, Seraph seemed to think. "You can sleep on the side of the road. I don't mind."
"Then let's just do it then. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get you involved." Don't worry, I'll protect you.
"It's okay, senior. I'll complete the mission myself." [We need to find a way to break free. I don't know if I can trust it, but this thing? It's a strange thing to call it. The spirit inside this staff has helped me so much. Even though I feel sorry for you, I don't want to get involved in your affairs. You're bringing a third party into this...
No, originally, I was the fourth party. I wasn't involved at all, and I didn't know anything about it. But now I'm experiencing something strange. My life has always been strange. Since when did things start to become strange?
I'd say it was since I was a child. I don't know what happened. I don't even know what other people are doing. Now, all I know is that I brought Kisen to the sect. The path is empty, like floating in space, with clouds following me.]
"Let's go. At least find a suitable place to sleep." So he could sleep peacefully.
Seraph walked aimlessly, carrying his Kisen staff.
After a while, Seraph saw a place to rest.
He decided to sit down and catch his breath.
"Let me rest here for a while."
Seraph sat down, placing his Kisen staff on the ground.
Seraph's small hope was that someone would steal the Kisen staff that had moved away from him and take him away.
Seraph watched people walk by.
Seraph began to rest a little while later. Someone walked up to Seraph.
A dark shadow blocked the sunlight, falling on Seraph.
Seraph looked around curiously, wondering who was standing there.
In front of Seraph, a young woman stood calmly, smiling with amusement. Her long red hair, reaching down to her neck, was mixed with yellow tones.
Both eyes were yellow-red, shaped like whales. Her beautiful face captivated everyone.
She wore ordinary clothes. Her name was Ruka (Copycat or Imitator).
Age: Sixteen.
Seraph looked at the young woman in front of her, wondering what she was up to. [Giving me money, that doesn't seem right.]
Ruka smiled with amusement. "Is this her, big sister?"
The person beside Ruka spoke up. "Yes, that's right. This is the person who gave me one gold coin to buy it."
Seraph looked at the maid beside Ruka and remembered something. It was a familiar face. [This person gave me one gold coin and brought someone else to see me.]
She was the maid who had stolen money from Seraph and given the money.
"What's up, big sister? I'm busy. So, how about another day?"
The maid didn't say anything.
Ruka held her chin. Two whale-like eyes reflected the image of Seraph.
"That sounds interesting. Then, would you mind following me? I was just trying to talk about a gold coin?"
"Oh, about the money? Don't worry about it. I don't want it back, so don't worry about it."
[This person can sense the danger he's unleashing. He looks dangerous. A red omen is starting to emanate from him. Plus, my path of luck has no escape route. It looks like something's really bad. The misfortune of death is right in front of me.]
Ruka clasped both her hands behind her back, showing her power. Her face was extended toward Seraph.
"Follow me now, or I'll kill you right here. I'm sure."
Ruka's tone was kind, but
Seraph nodded. [Oh my gosh, escaping chaos and encountering danger. Life is so unpredictable.
This person is serious. He dared to kill people in this place. Who else could it be?... No. I have to think more like this. How will I survive? This is the question.]
"Okay."
Seraph stood up, his right hand gripping the Kisen staff, and followed closely behind. [I entrust it to you, senior. Right now, only Kisen can save me.]
Ruka started walking, with the maid following behind.
Ruka came to an apple shop. "Want an apple?"
Seraph shook his head at Ruka.
"Just to make sure. Where are we going?"
Ruka approached the apple. Her right hand grabbed an apple from the fruit stand.
Ruka's speed made it impossible for Seraph to keep up.
Ruka picked up an apple and ate it, while the maid paid for it.
Ruka took a bite and smiled, enjoying it as if the whole world was on fire. It's my toy.
"Let's go to the hotel. I have something to tell you."
After a while, the three of them arrived at the hotel, where Seraph was sitting in a chair with tea on the table.
The area wasn't very spacious, but they could comfortably sleep there. This was the second floor.
Ruka was lying in the chair, eating some fruit.
"Then, is there anything you'd like to say before I start, little one?"
Seraph sat with his cane placed near him. [Acting very relaxed, what should I do? Should I just confess that I didn't do it? No, if I did, I'd be killed by the Kisen cane. I'll admit it first, so I can mitigate my punishment a bit.]
"I stole a gold coin from that maid, so I apologize."
Seraph bowed his head in apology, while Ruuka lay back comfortably.
The sound of biting an apple resounded. "Pop, pop, pop."
Time passed, and Ruuka didn't say a word.
Seraph stared at the ground. [Say something, what the hell? Why are you silent? Tell me what you think. You still have no choice?]
Ruka stopped eating the apple. "Fine, I'll give you half of it. Tell me why you did this."
Seraph thought hard. [He said he was on a mission to join the Phirenin Academy by paying stolen money to gain information. He's dead for sure. He's using money for such a small matter. Plus, the person he's with is so close. Telling the secret will get you killed because of this item. Not telling the secret will give you a better chance of survival.] Seraph thought hard because every path he took had death waiting for him.
