His right hand darkened, scales of black dragon armor spreading across it as razor-sharp claws emerged.
"I wonder," he sneered, "just how much strength your master gave you… to make you fight so hard in his name."
Niu Tian's expression turned grim. He shouted toward the distant, dazed Wang Dong'er:
"Dong'er! Grant me the Sea God's Blessing!"
Wang Dong'er blinked, startled — then turned her gaze toward him. At once, the Sea God's divine blessing that had been protecting Tai Tan was redirected to Niu Tian. With that dual empowerment, his power surged past the threshold, breaking through Level 99 and into Level 100 — the realm of a god!
Meanwhile, Tai Tan's aura plummeted sharply, dropping back to Level 98.
"A god's aura!"
The Snow Empress's pupils constricted; the icy calm of her face cracked into rare seriousness and tension.
The God of Fate, however, felt no fear. She raised her hand — and a ring of brilliant golden light appeared. From within it, a colossal golden hand emerged, descending upon Niu Tian!
Twin flames rose behind her back — one scarlet, one azure — turning like the Sun and Moon, their luminous tides rippling across the sky.
Di Tian moved in harmony with her strike, extending his dragon claws to rend open a fissure in space, his attack merging with the divine hand's power as they both struck Niu Tian together.
Niu Tian abandoned his human form, revealing his true body — a massive azure serpent over a thousand meters long, a pair of great ox horns curving from his head, his girth nearly thirty meters across. He opened his blood-red maw wide, and a Sluggish Domain spread forth, distorting the flow of time itself.
Then came his Sky Azure Annihilation Thunder, endless bolts of lightning shattering the mirrored heavens as they clashed with the combined attacks!
The impact unleashed a catastrophic explosion. The shockwave compressed the earth below, collapsing it into a vast bowl-shaped crater nearly a kilometer wide — the soil beneath even beginning to crystallize from the pressure!
Tai Tan, still pinned below, was faring no better. His thick hide was split open, blood matting his fur.
As the storm of energy finally subsided, the God of Fate strode through the dissipating mist, spear in hand. Behind her, a golden dragon's majestic silhouette emerged, its roar shaking the heavens — and with it descended the primeval dragon might of ages past.
"That's… the power of the Golden Dragon King?" Di Tian's expression froze in shock.
"Where did Jiang Shengyu and Jiang Qingtong obtain such strength…?"
