Sofia and I were unable to get the old man who called himself Randolph to take the plant that would prove if he was telling the truth or speaking lies and deceiving the pack.
It shouldn't be that hard to get him to take some herbs with us, neither should it be hard to incorporate it into his food while he has dinner with us, you may think.
It was practically impossible to get him to eat either of us after our plan was in motion, and anyway, we succeeded in having him eat with us. He insisted that he take his food himself from the kitchen and from the pot if possible.
It looked suspicious, but Sofia and I smiled about it as we didn't want to be seen as the suspicious ones. He picked his cutlery, cups, and so on.
In summary, getting him to take the plant was almost an impossible task. Which left Sofia and I weighing the options.
