I had finally recovered and was in headquaters of pokemon league. Everyone was discussing how to announce it and split responsibility of kanto and jhoto. They turned to me for my oppinion, I maybe a 15 year old but I am also the champion and a full fledge evolution and type professor. They can't really dismiss me.
"I suggest we seperate kanto and jhoto league." I said simply. Everyone was shocked. An uproar evoked in the entire table. Everyone was protesting when...
"For years both Kanto and Jhoto citizens are dissatisfies for having the same league. Management and sequrity of both region is also lax due to huge amount of responsibility. Lets fix that. Since Lance here is the strongest elite four then lets make him the jhoto champion and I become the kanto one. All the elite four will be split between us based on there birth place. Since Bruno is from Cinabar in jhoto then he will be an elite four of jhoto region and Agatha and Loreil being of Kanto will be elite of Kanto region." I said. Everyone was stunned of hearing such logical argument from a 15 year old.
They also could not deny what she said. The management was lax.
"But.. but." Someone stammered.
"You are protesting like you are happy with both regions sharing the league. Both region citizens hatred for each other is only because of this shared region. I am sure there will be little to no backlash for this." Regina said this sitting like a queen one leg crossed over other and her head resting on one her one arm. That shut them up.
"But what about the other elite four members." Mr pokemon asked. Yeah that's his name. Don't judge(like me).
"We will have to chose the strongest gym leader and take them in as elite four obviously. Those gym leaders but will have to first pass the test and then will they have to showcase there strength in an exhibition match. That will ensure that everyone knows that they are safe and the new elite four of both regions are strong enough." I said.
"But you will have two elite four and I will have one. That's does not seem fair. Does it." Lance said with mock seriousness.
"Don't pretend like you don't like the idea. Plus I know you already have two strong gym leader who's strength are near equal to the elite four and often act as elite four in jhoto region and take care of there duties." I said with a deadpan in my voice.
"Touche" He chuckled.
"Well if these all are being discussed then I also have something to reveal." Agatha said. Everyone attention immediately shifted to her.
"I have decided to retire as an elite four. I am too old to take the mantle anymore." Agatha said. It caused an uproar. Well she did say she wished for a vacation.
"Its a pity. But please agree to become one of the gym leaders then. You can set up the seven badge rule for your gym if you do not wish that many challengers to disturb you. Kanto is in dire need of strong gym leaders." I asked.
"Fine then." She said shaking her head with a sigh though I could see the smile almost breaking out of her face.
It was agreed upon. Kanto and Jhoto were oficially sliting up the region and finding the elite four was my duty since I suggested it. I immediately went back to viridian city. I know just the preson suitable for the job.
Viridian city-
"Hello Regina, or should I say miss champion. What can I help you with." Giovani said chuckling.
"Become the elite four." I blutered out.
"WHAT." Giovani asked shock evidient on his face. I explained everything to Giovani.
"That's certainly a bold move. But it was much necessary. The rivalry between Kanto and Jhoto was increasing day by day. This should make everyone happy." Giovani muttered thoughtfully.
"So what about my offer." I asked.
"To become an elite four. I would be a fool to refuse it. But what about the gym." Giovani said.
" Agatha will take over it. She did wish to step down from elite four. I convinced her to still act as a gym leader though." I said.
"Well at least viridian gym will still be the strongest gym." Giovani said though he could not hide his shock on hearing about Agatha retirement which is strange cause she is old.
"So who would be the other two elite four." Giovani asked curious.
"That is a surprise that I don't wish to ruin by telling you. Just be patient cause I will ensure to build the strongest elite four the world have ever seen." I said. Giovani was impressed by my ambitions then...
"Lets battle." He said. I blinked in suprise.
"A one on one. Lets give it our all. A battle between a potential elite and kanto champion." Giovani suggested.
I was suprised but quiet interested. Maybe in this way I can test the full potential of my future elite four plus I do wanna battle. Due to my fainting in the league ground I was to only remain in bed rest and was also unable to even train my pokemon. So I am itching for a battle anyway. Yeah. Lets do this.
