Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Saiyan Peacekeeping Force

A surge of spatial energy rippled—and in an instant, the environment around Jaco and Tights changed completely.

The three of them were no longer on Earth, but had arrived at the place Jaco knew best:

Galactic Patrol Headquarters.

"W-What kind of sorcery is this?! Incredible!" Jaco gasped.

"That's just Lynx's Instant Transmission," Tights replied casually—by now, she was used to it.

Lynx turned to Jaco with a calm smile.

"Mr. Jaco, please take me to see the Galactic King."

"Hey Lynx, I'm warning you—don't try anything funny. You may be strong, but this is Galactic Patrol HQ! If you mess around, we won't go easy on you!"

"Relax. I'm really just here to propose a collaboration."

Of course, Lynx wouldn't act recklessly—he knew full well that hidden somewhere within the Galactic Patrol was the mysterious top-tier warrior: Merus.

That guy was suspected to be on par with Whis—an Angel-class being. With Lynx's current power, causing trouble here would be a death sentence.

So, the trio made their way toward the Galactic King's office.

Along the way, patrol members stared as they passed.

"Hey Jaco, weren't you assigned to Earth?"

"You're back? Where's your spaceship?"

"Yo, Jaco—"

Tights looked around at the curious faces.

"Jaco, you actually have decent popularity here?"

"Of course! I'm a super elite, you know!"

Lynx gave a silent smirk.

Soon, the three arrived at the Galactic King's chamber.

Though Tights had known Jaco for years, it was her first time meeting his boss—and the moment she laid eyes on the Galactic King, she was stunned.

Because, contrary to what she had imagined… the Galactic King was a green octopus-like alien wearing a tiny crown.

"Jaco? Why are you back? Who are these people?" the King asked, eyes shifting warily.

Jaco straightened up and saluted formally. Then, he jogged over and whispered in the King's ear.

"S-Saiyan?!" The Galactic King flinched, visibly trembling.

One of the guards nearby subtly reached for a hidden button inside the room.

"Hmm?"

Lynx suddenly shot him a glare—and released a suppressed blast of killing intent.

The guard collapsed on the spot.

"Relax, everyone. I may be a Saiyan, but I've come in peace."

"W-What do you want?" the King stammered.

"Your Majesty, I'd like to propose a collaboration—have the Saiyans work under the Galactic Patrol."

The Galactic King blinked.

"Work for us? What do you mean?"

So, Lynx laid out his plan.

Since taking control of the Saiyans, he had banned raids and invasions of other planets.

But that also meant his people were now lacking in real combat experience.

No matter how good a training room was, true growth only came from real battle. And without conflict, breaking through one's limits was nearly impossible.

So if the Saiyans could no longer be villains, then why not have them walk the path of the Saiyans from Universe 6?

In that timeline, the Saiyans earned a living by protecting other planets, working as hired peacekeepers who fought off criminals.

As a fan of the original story, Lynx knew that outside of Merus, the Galactic Patrol's combat strength was mediocre at best.

Most of the time, they could only deal with small-time crooks. When it came to real threats—like Frieza's army—they were useless.

But the Saiyans weren't.

"So, what do you say, Your Majesty? If you agree, I'll form a Special Operations Division under the Galactic Patrol—made up entirely of Saiyans."

"I'll call it the Peacekeeping Force.Whenever you run into criminals too dangerous to handle, call us in."

The Galactic King mulled it over.

"Hmm… sounds good in theory. But how can I be sure the Saiyans won't just go rogue again? Their reputation isn't exactly… great."

"That was the past. Now, the Saiyans follow me. I'll make sure they stay on the right path."

"…Alright. Let's give it a shot."

"Thank you, Your Majesty.I'll have my people coordinate the details with your team."

Having secured the agreement, Lynx didn't linger.

He used Instant Transmission to bring Tights and Jaco back to Earth.

Not long after they left, a Galactic Patrolman burst into the King's office, holding a laser gun.

"Your Majesty! Where's the Saiyan attacker?! I heard there was a violent Saiyan here!"

"Oh, Merus? It's fine. Just a misunderstanding."

The Patrolman—Merus—paused in confusion.

When he heard the full story, a strange glint appeared in his eyes.

"A Saiyan king who wants to redeem his race?" "In this universe… someone like that actually exists?"

One month later – Planet Vegeta

A new training craze had swept across the Saiyan race.

Inside rows of gravity chambers provided by Capsule Corporation, Saiyans young and old were sweating through brutal training regimens.

Whenever someone got seriously hurt, they were quickly moved to healing pods—also provided by Capsule Corp—for immediate recovery.

Thanks to the help of Dr. Brief and Bulma, Lynx's Saiyan Enhancement Program was now back on track.

Of the three quests given by the system, the first—

"Raise the battle power of over 1,000 Saiyans above 10,000 within one year"—was already halfway done.

The other two missions were also progressing smoothly.

At this rate, completing all three within the year was only a matter of time.

With things on track, Lynx resumed his own training.

But soon, he realized—he had hit a bottleneck.

The 50x Gravity Room… was no longer enough.

One day, stepping out of the training chamber, Lynx checked his power level:

Battle Power: 1,000,000.

Two months ago, he'd gained over 200,000 in just one month.

This month? Barely 100,000.

The growth rate had dropped significantly.

"Yeah… the 50x chamber isn't cutting it anymore."

It was probably time to return to Earth.

He'd previously paid Dr. Brief with Saiyan spacecraft technology, in exchange for developing even higher-multiplier gravity rooms—as well as other Saiyan-related equipment.

Now that a month had passed, it was time to check in.

But before leaving, Lynx first wanted to confirm the situation on Planet Vegeta...
