Chapter 15 - chapster 13:the returner goes to the academy

flashback

March 10, 2010

Three boys were bullying a brown-haired girl for wearing glasses and seeing her as inferior for not having powers, but a dark blue-haired boy would come to her defense, saying that they were chickens for bothering a girl and that they didn't deserve their powers.

When the three boys heard him call them chickens and say they didn't deserve their powers, they were going to attack him, but just then a teacher would arrive and stop them.

He told the three boys that they shouldn't pick on kids without powers, and he also told the other boy the same thing.

When the teacher left, the three boys warned the other boy that this wouldn't end there.

The frightened girl said to the boy, "Wataru, why did you do that? I was fine. I was going to show them my power, and they would have stopped bothering me."

Wataru Yoshida: Hana, maybe they would have kept bothering you or they would have done it to someone else. Besides, that line was great, wasn't it?

Wataru would put his hand behind his head and say he had seen it in a TV series.

Hana Watanabe: But why? Would you rather they did that to you?

Wataru Yoshida: Because that's what a hero would do, Hana.

Wataru Yoshida: My mom and dad wanted to be heroes, but they couldn't, so I promised them that I would be one and that I would save everyone.

End of flashback.

Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Wataru Yoshida: "I can really trust that guy."

Mitio (demon): "Then why don't you keep an eye on him?"

Wataru Yoshida: "I already tried, don't you remember?"

Mitio (demon): "Oh, that's right."

Wataru Yoshida: "Well, I'll just have to trust him. In the meantime, I'll try to talk to Hana to make sure she's okay. She hasn't been going to school, and I could ask my aunt for help, but they had a big fight yesterday, and it's better if they don't keep fighting."

Wataru Yoshida: "Well, I'll just have to do the only thing I'm good at: being annoying."

Wataru would approach Hana's door and knock, saying:

Wataru Yoshida: "Hana, open the door. I need to talk to you."

Hana Watanabe: "Go away. I don't want to talk to anyone."

Wataru Yoshida: "Damn it. I'll try again tomorrow."

Friday, April 19

11:00:00 AM

Wataru Yoshida: Hana, open the door. We have to go to the academy.

Hana Watanabe: No, I'm not going, Wataru.

Wataru Yoshida: Damn it. "I'll do the same thing tomorrow."

Saturday, April 20

12:30:45PM (noon)

Wataru Yoshida: Hana, let's talk. Let's go to the park.

Hana Watanabe: No, I'm not going out, Wataru.

And day after day, Wataru would do the same thing every day at 10:30:00AM

After 13 days, he would receive a different response, although it would not be what he expected.

Wataru Yoshida: Hana, come out and buy your favorite game.

Wataru would hear footsteps and Hana would come out with teary eyes. She would ask Wataru to please stop coming to her door, because instead of forgetting him, she only remembered him more.

Wataru would tell her to talk to him to see if he could help her, but Hana would not answer him and would go back to bed.

Wataru would go ask his aunt if her uncle had ever done anything similar to what he was doing.

She would say yes, when she lost her grandfather, she locked herself in her room. and her father knocked on her door every day to see if he could talk to her. Weeks passed before she opened the door and cried in her father's arms. He comforted her, took her to the park to eat ice cream, to an amusement park, and told her that her grandfather would be sad if he saw her like that and asked her to continue being happy, even if it hurt, no matter how many bad things happened.

Wataru Yoshida: I understand what you're saying, but how the hell can a 7-year-old girl understand that?

Mina Yoshimura: I don't really know, but he gave her a bunch of candy and chocolate, so that must have made her forget what happened.

Wataru Yoshida: So, what I understand is that you want me to take her to an amusement park and buy her chocolate and candy.

Mina Yoshimura: No, you have to think about what you can do.

Wataru Yoshida: Hmm, I think I have an idea, but I need a little more money.

Sunday, May 5

10:00:43 AM

Hana would leave her room and the first thing she would see is Wataru in a suit, and Wataru would say, "Miss, are you ready for a wonderful trip?"

Hana would ignore him and go to the bathroom.

When she came out of the bathroom, she would see Wataru again, only this time he would ask her to at least accompany him because he had already prepared something.

Hana would reluctantly say she would go, but if it was boring, she would leave.

Wataru Yoshida: Well, I hope you're ready because it's going to be the best day of your life.

11:00:00 a.m.

They would go for breakfast, but the place would be closed, so Wataru would suggest going somewhere else.

They would arrive at an arcade, and Wataru would point to a fighting game (Hana's favorite).

Wataru would suggest they play Street Fighter and show her how much he had improved since they were children.

The result was that Hana completely beat him; Wataru didn't land a single blow.

He would tell her that she was still too good, even though she hadn't played in a long time, and they would go to the next place.

12:20:00 PM

They would arrive at the second place, which would be a restaurant. Wataru would ask Hana what she wanted to eat, and she would order curry.

After finishing their meal, Wataru would order chocolate ice cream for both of them.

2:30 PM

When they left, Wataru would ask Hana if she liked the food.

Hana would say yes, but she didn't like the chocolate ice cream because it had strawberries in it.

Wataru Yoshida: "How delicate, damn it."

Wataru Yoshida: "I'm running out of money and I don't know if going to a shopping mall would be a good idea. I think it's better to go with that plan even though I might hate the idea."

Wataru would tell Hana that there was one last place he liked.

He would arrive at an amusement park, which Hana would reject as soon as she saw it.

Wataru would tell her to at least give it a try.

They would have a good time on some rides, like the spinning cups, where Wataru would get dizzy and throw up. Hana would tell him not to try so hard to entertain her, that it was a waste of time because when they got home, she would go straight back to bed.

Wataru would disagree, because he would make her happy again, even if he got tired.

Hana would ask why he would do that, and Wataru would say he would answer that at the end.

They would go on several rides until Wataru suggested going on the roller coaster as the last ride.

They would go and sit in the last row.

Wataru would tell her that it would be fun, but he would see Hana trembling and ask her what was wrong.

She would tell him that she was afraid of roller coasters and wanted to get off.

Wataru would try to tell the ride operator that they were getting off, but just as he was about to say it, the ride had started.

Hana would be so scared that she would almost throw electricity at the machines, but Wataru would grab her hand and tell her to stay calm because he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

Although Wataru's words would calm her down a little, it wouldn't work completely, and she would accidentally give Wataru an

electric shock that would make his hair stand on end.

She would apologize, but he would say it was okay.

Wataru would tell her to stay calm, that he was with her and nothing would happen to her.

Hana Watanabe: Wataru, why are you doing this? Why are you always helping me?

Wataru Yoshida: Hana, answering your previous question, it's because you're part of my family, and I would give anything for my family.

Hana Watanabe: What if we weren't family?

Wataru would tell her that even if they weren't family, he would still help her, because that's what heroes do, Hana.

Hana would laugh and tell him that he never changed, he just stopped saying silly things for a while and now he's back to saying them again.

Wataru would give her his hand.

Hana would accept his hand and ask him not to let go.

And so, in a short time, they got off the roller coaster.

Wataru would see Hana smiling and ask her if something had changed, to which she would reply that no, she was still sad because her dad wasn't there, but even though he wasn't there, it didn't mean she couldn't smile and enjoy herself as she always did.

and Wataru Yoshida achieved his goal of making his cousin happy and would tell her that when they arrived, she should make peace with her mother so that her mother would not continue to be sad, which Hana would accept with a smile.
