Chapter 9: A Powerful Visit and an Unexpected Encounter

The next day, Kyle awoke feeling strong, a recovery that defied the lethality of the "Night's Tear." News of the Heinz Family's visit, one of the empire's most powerful clans, known for their red hair and legendary sword skill, led him to the grand reception hall.

The Heinz Patriarch, a giant, muscular man with long red hair, stepped forward to formally greet the Zujesh Patriarch. Beside him, the clan's Matriarch, a woman with blue eyes and red hair, exuded nobility. Behind them stood the next generation.

The Heinz Patriarch began the introductions: "This is my eldest son, named Franc... he has magnificent skill with the sword and is worthy to be the next successor." Then, "My second son is named Flame. He has magnificent skills in magic swordsmanship, as he uses fire as an attribute." And next, "The following is Leily. She has abilities like Flame's, and also uses magic swordsmanship, with water as her attribute." Finally, he introduced the youngest: "And this is my youngest son. As he is small, we don't know his abilities very well, but he has shown interest in the sword." This last one, Kyle's age, had a handsome face and eyes that blended green and blue, shining with a wisdom far beyond his young age.

At that moment, the young Heinz looked at Kyle and smiled. Kyle felt a chill seeing that smile and thought to himself: I know that smile so well... it's impossible for me not to remember... the Demon King?... how?

The Patriarch of the Zujesh Clan stepped forward and said: "They have grown a lot... I want to see how far they can go... well, now I will introduce you to my children. This is the eldest son, Alex; he has magnificent skills in sword and magic. The second is Melina; she has blue eyes and white hair, and skills in ice magic. The third is Zuho, green eyes and black hair, sword skills. And my youngest son...", his voice flattened as he referred to Kyle, "he was like a bastard in the family, as everyone believed he had no talent."
