Chapter 13: The Terror of the Dark Illusion and the Unexpected Victory
At that moment, Flame was about to attack Kyle, but suddenly he saw a dark light surrounding him (the technique; no one else saw it because it was an illusion). Flame thought to himself: What is this? What's happening? Suddenly, the entire space was enveloped in darkness; nothing could be seen, but then a small figure approached him. Flame felt shivers as that person drew near; he was afraid. It was Kyle, but his face was terrifying, and an aura of killing intent surrounded him. Kyle approached Flame and whispered in his ear: "Don't mess with me again... or it'll be worse... and don't tell anyone." Kyle stepped back a little with a murderous look, his eyes emitting a red light, and said: "I'll kill you myself without anyone knowing."
Flame froze, and suddenly the others watched as he fell to the ground on his knees and said, "I surrender..." Kyle got up with a genuine smile and said, "Wow, I won, mother!" and walked toward his mother while giving Rush one last look. Rush exchanged glances with a smile: Wasn't that a bit much? Haha.
Flame said nothing about what had happened in the illusion. The Zujesh Patriarch, though intrigued, ended the confrontation. The Heinz Patriarch approached Flame, but he only shook his head, unable to articulate a word, his silence a testament to the terror he had just experienced. Alex approached Kyle, asking what had happened, while Adeline could only hug him tightly, relieved.
