Chapter 92 - Chapter 91: I Don’t Think What Happened Today Will Happen Again?

With her confidence restored, Kushina stopped crying and locked eyes with the boy who had shouted at her earlier.

Kids always acted tough. The moment he realized Kushina had used chakra to force his body stiff, panic broke across his face.

"W-What do you think you're doing? You want to fight me? The teacher's right there!"

He turned toward Morino Shun, hoping for support, but the man just stood there, absently counting his fingers, pretending not to notice anything unusual.

Confusion flickered in the crowd. That hesitation opened the window for Kushina to move.

"Grrrr-!"

With a roar, she lunged. The boy didn't even raise his arms before she slammed into him and knocked him flat on his back.

Girls developed faster than boys at that age. And she caught him completely unguarded.

Kushina climbed on top of him and drove her fists-pink and tiny-straight into his face.

Bang. Bang. Bang. Punch after punch turned the blond boy's face into swollen meat. He screamed out through the pain and tears that followed.

"Wah! Nara! Akimichi! Somebody help me!"

His cry finally broke the standoff around them. Shocked children hesitated only for seconds before shouting in panic:

"Hey-attack her!"

"Help him! Don't just watch!"

"Hit her-!"

Acts of aggression from one child sparked defensive instincts in others. Among them, one chubby boy started stepping forward, until the thin boy beside him grabbed his arm tightly.

His eyes flicked to Akira, the boy who stood calmly while Kushina attacked.

Akira noticed the glance, and the hesitation that followed, so he narrowed his eyes.

"So that's the great Ino-Shika-Chō? Weak in unity when it counts..."

Disgust tugged at his lips as his hand moved to the table beside him. Chalk pieces were scooped up silently.

His arms barely shifted.

Thwip-thwip-thwip!

White lines screamed through the air and embedded into the wooden floor. Chalkbits nailed sleeves and hems down to the ground with pinpoint precision before anyone could move again.

"What just happened?!"

"I-I'm pinned!"

And then-

"Aaaaagh! My hand!"

One of the boys began rolling on the floor, clutching bleeding fingers. Red soaked between them fast.

Akira's expression didn't shift as he lowered his hand again and spoke casually.

"Oops. My hand slipped."

Dead silence followed-except for the wounded child screaming on the floor.

Even Morino Shun stood frozen, sweat spreading under his clothes. A seasoned Chūnin, unable to see how Akira had moved at that speed? That couldn't be right-but it was undeniable now.

No Genin could do that with chalk alone-not unless they were operating at Jōnin level or above.

Akira clapped the chalk dust off his hands and dropped the box back onto the desk before scanning the room again with blank disinterest.

"Kushina. Ten minutes max. Let's not derail the lesson schedule."

"Oh-"

Kushina stepped off her victim immediately-only to stamp on his chest one last time before walking off with feigned innocence, returning to Akira's side without another word.

Akira glanced across the crowd of children now huddled close together. The only ones not hiding in fear were Senju kids, one Uchiha girl-who stared at him admiringly-and that blond kid across the room who hadn't budged or looked away once.

None of them had been able to follow his movements earlier. They weren't fools, they knew better than to provoke what they couldn't understand.

With no objections rising, Akira dropped the transformation technique with casual ease.

Fwoom!

And gasps erupted instantly across every row of desks.

"Ah! It's Lord Akira!"

Squealing erupted from the Uchiha girl as she stepped back in surprise but couldn't take her eyes off him after recognizing his face properly.

Akira smiled at her just once, then looked toward Morino Shun again where he stood pale and stiff beside him.

"Teacher Morino. I assume this kind of incident won't be happening again."

Spoken softly. Calmly. As though nothing disruptive had occurred at any point today.

Morino Shun shook his head without hesitation-or dignity.

"No! No sir-it absolutely won't happen again...!"

"Good."

Akira gave one slow nod before turning back to Kushina beside him.

"Kushina, I'll leave now."

"Okay, Uncle! I'll take care of myself!"

Beaming with pride and energy, she waved her little fist in victory-a complete reversal from how she'd entered earlier that day, timid and uncertain about everything outside her home.

"I'll see you after school!"

"Okay!"

Satisfied, Akira looked back toward the class again-and singled out two students with brief words:

"You-the blond boy-and you, little Uchiha girl… Thanks for speaking up for Kushina earlier. If you're free after school, you're welcome to visit our home and play with her."

Before they could respond-

Poof!

Akira vanished with another teleportation technique, leaving stunned silence behind once again.

"Uncle! Uncle-I'm home!"

Kushina ran through the hall with loud footsteps reverberating off every wall before skidding into view of Akira and Mito as they sat together relaxing on the porch under warm sunlight.

She charged straight at Akira and leapt up-

Fwump!

-and clung to him like a baby monkey.

Mito arched an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by the clingy display.

"Kushina, you're acting like some spoiled little girl. Get down already."

"Oh..."

Akira sighed and offered Mito a quick explanation as she watched Kushina huff beside him with arms crossed in exaggerated drama.

"She's just excited, it's her first day at school after arriving here."

"Mm-hmm!"

Kushina nodded fast before switching topics like nothing happened at Mito's scolding tone.

"Also-I brought two classmates home today!"

She pointed toward Minato standing awkwardly near the doorway and Mikoto next to him fidgeting with both hands clasped together tightly.
