as they both were talking they came across a giant bug that looked like a millipede but it was over 2 meters in length and seeing it valerius took the position of attacking it but amanda stopped him

valerius was surprised by the sudden move and gained his footing back and just as he saw in his front he found that amanda was fighting with some weird looking creature. the creature had a lower jaw of whorled teeth and it had a pair of eyes and the hands of the creature were weird to as they didn't have wrists but had sharp blades in place of them and they were standing on two legs although not completely upright.

thinking that valerius moved towards amanda to fight with her but just as valerius was about to reach towards where amanda was fighting that creature. several more of those creatures came out of the water

valerius moved towards the two creatures and unsheathed his sword and met them head on

sparks flew because of the sword clash that happened between valerius and the creature meanwhile the other creature came towards valerius and tried to attack the spot where valerius was standing. valerius seeing that did a back flip twice and moved away from that spot. the other creature started running towards valerius

their swords clashed again. this time the creature used his second blade to attack valerius. valerius seeing the attack caught it between his arm and the second creature came running towards valerius to pierce him with his blade valerius brought the arm of the creature that he was holding between him and the second creature attack

the arm of the creature that valerius was holding got cleanly cut in two parts and the creature screamed in pain the second creature seeing that was somewhat shocked but ready for the next attack. valerius was to ready to fight with that creature again. this time he clashed with the second creature and seeing the loss of the hand of one of its allies because of valerius enraged it. the second creature was attacking fiercely. it was attacking relentlessly with no time gap between each attack

the second creature used his second blade to attack valerius seeing no option valerius used his scabbard to defend against the attack. valerius loosened his grip on his sword and the second creature thinking it has gained an advantage tried to attack valerius but valerius delivered a spinning roundhouse kick and the kick connected to the second creature chest and the second creature flew alot of meters before finally landing on the ground

valerius after seeing that looked back to see what happened to the first creature but just as he was about to look back he saw the first creature already behind him raising his sword to attack valerius. valerius thought if the attack hit then it will lead to a fatal injury but valerius braced for the attack

just before the sword could hit valerius some creature came in between the attack

valerius moved quickly and used his sword to attack the first creature. the first creature caught the attack with it blade but valerius used his other hand to punch the first creature. he kept on punching the first creature the first creature face was already bleeding and the teeth in its lower jaw were already deformed they were moved in a completely different direction. valerius stopped punching the first creature and switched his sword from his one hand to another seeing that the first creature used his blade to attack valerius. valerius brought his palm in the way of the attack and the first creature blade pierced valerius palm without wasting any time valerius used his sword to pierce the wrist of the first creature

the second creature came running towards valerius to attack him. valerius with the sword that was piercing the hand of the first creature didn't remove it from the first creature hand rather he completely rotated the sword breaking the bones of the first creature hand

the sword that valerius had rotated with the hand of the first creature pierced the throat of the second creature instantly killing the creature.
now i will kill you in the most brutal way
valerius said with a cold grin on his face
valerius removed his hand from the blade that was piercing the hand and he also removed the sword from the hand of the first creature. valerius quickly grabbed the lower jaw of the first creature and completely detached it from the first creature face with his sheer strength.

the first creature cried in a pain that was unbearable to it. it was shaking on the ground continuously because of the unbearable pain due to it lower jaw being detached. valerius started making his way towards the creature until amanda called out to him
