We arrived at Cooper's company lot, and the security team somehow got wind of it; they stopped us close to the entrance.
"Please, sir, this is working hours; you have to leave," the head of the security team said to me.
"I have important business; can't you tell?" I signaled to Remi.
His eyes briefly moved to her, but he stood his ground. "I won't grant you access," he stated.
"Will you be okay after doing this?"
"I am only doing my job, sir. Mr. Sebastian ordered us to keep you away from these premises," the team leader said.
Remi drew closer and held my arm. "What is he talking about? Have you been here before?" she whispered, but I didn't respond. I moved away from her and approached the team leader.
"This is my last warning; move out of my way. Do not embarrass me in front of the guest," I warned, but they stood their ground.
