The room was a sanctuary of soft light and softer sounds. Julian's shirt was now completely open, and Emma's nurse uniform was a loose pool of fabric around her waist. Zoe's doctor's coat was forgotten on the floor, leaving her in her simple, elegant attire.
Julian's hands moved over them with a possessiveness that was both gentle and demanding. One hand cupped the back of Emma's head, his fingers tangling in her fiery red hair as he kissed her deeply, swallowing her eager, breathy moans. His other hand found the zipper at the back of Zoe's dress.
"Zoe," he murmured against Emma's lips, his voice a low rumble.
There was a quiet click, and the dress loosened. Zoe didn't speak. She simply let the fabric slip from her shoulders, her dark, impassive eyes watching him, a faint flush the only sign of her arousal. She leaned forward, her long black hair brushing his arm, and pressed a slow, open-mouthed kiss to his chest, right over his heartbeat. Her tongue darted out to taste his skin.
