Julian stepped into the room and found Celestia seated on the bed, dressed casually yet carrying an undeniable allure. Her usual cold demeanor softened just a little as her eyes met his.
"Hello, Julian. How's your wound?" she asked quietly.
Julian gave a small nod. "It's healing well enough."
"That's good to hear," Celestia replied, her voice tinged with a shy hesitation. "Well, shall we begin?"
Julian met her gaze steadily before settling beside her. His eyes locked onto hers as he spoke gently, "Do you remember what I said that night?"
Celestia's expression flickered with surprise, but she nodded. "I remember."
"Then why haven't you acted on it yet?" Julian pressed softly.
A silence hung between them, Celestia unable to find words.
Julian's voice softened further. "It's alright to depend on me now. We're partners, through life and death. Don't hold it all inside."
Without hesitation, Julian wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.
