Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 - Power

Julian stood at the edge of the mattress, gazing down at Clarissa and Emma who lay exhausted, sprawled across the bed. Their breaths were steady, their nearly bare bodies limp from the lingering afterglow of what had just transpired. On Julian's face, a satisfied grin played, one that spoke not only of physical pleasure, but of a deeper, more dangerous triumph.

A translucent panel appeared before him, hovering with a soft bluish glow.

[Domination Quest Progress]

Objective: Emma Leigh

Squirting: 3/3 (Complete)

Creampie: 5/5 (Complete)

Take her Virginity: 1/1 (Complete)

[Emma Leigh – Domination: 100% – COMPLETE]

Congratulations! You have completed the quest.

[Reward will be granted.]

[Would you like to claim your reward now?]

Without hesitation, Julian pressed [YES].

Instantly, the panel flickered, and a new message appeared.

[New Skill Acquired: Extract]

This ability allows the user to steal another person's skill.

(Target must be under domination to increase the success rate).

Julian grinned. "Damn… This is broken," he muttered. The skill was undeniably overpowered. But it came with a catch, the target had to be fully dominated first.

To Julian, that was no issue. With Domination already under his control, he was far beyond the reach of ordinary humans.

"Just as I thought..." he whispered, eyes drifting toward the ceiling as if putting together pieces of a puzzle. "I'm not the only one who's awakened powers like these."

He recalled the moment when Clarissa first showed signs of awakening, clearly triggered by the influence of his Domination skill. But was he truly the only one? Could there be others? Were they undergoing quests like his too?

Julian shrugged. "If anyone stands in my way… I'll just dominate them."

His gaze shifted toward Emma, who was still fast asleep. Raising his hand, he activated another skill he'd been saving, Slave Mark. A confirmation panel appeared before him.

[Apply Slave Mark to Emma Leigh?]

Julian hit [YES].

An invisible surge of energy rippled through the air. Slowly, intricate tattoo appeared, shaped vaguely like a womb, Several minutes passed before another notification flashed before him.

[Slave Mark applied successfully.]

[Slave Emma has acquired: Pyrokinesis.]

Master (Julian) has permission to enable/disable this skill.

Julian's eyes widened. "Pyrokinesis...?" he murmured. "That's just as destructive as Clarissa's telekinesis…"

What shocked him more was how quickly Emma's powers awakened compared to Clarissa's. Perhaps everyone had their own trigger. Maybe it was emotions. Maybe desire. He didn't really care.

What mattered was that every woman he conquered made him stronger, brought him closer to his true potential.

And now, he could feel it. In his body, in his aura… a noticeable surge of power.

"If this keeps up," he whispered, voice low and filled with ambition, "no one will be able to stop me… or betray me."

Julian knelt beside Emma, inspecting the bite wound on her neck. The skin, though still slightly red, was already closing up. There was no sign of discoloration, no trace of the infection that turned people into mindless corpses. Relief settled over him like a light breeze. Looks like the virus isn't spreading, he thought.

Satisfied, he stood and stretched. He needed to test the limits of his growing strength, and he was starving.

He took one last glance at the two sleeping girls before quietly locking the door to the gym storage room. Then, grabbing a marker and scrap of paper from nearby, he scribbled a quick note.

'I'll be back. Stay here. Don't open the door for anyone. ~J.'

Shoving the note under a nearby cone, Julian stepped out into the corridor, greeted once again by the silence of a broken school and the faint, guttural moans of the undead.

The moment he emerged, two zombies staggered toward him. Without hesitation, Julian twirled the metal staff in his hands and struck, once across the head, then again through the skull.

They collapsed in twitching heaps, and he could feel it, his power pulsing. His movements were faster, more precise. The adrenaline fed his strength.

He made his way toward one of the classrooms and found an abandoned backpack lying beneath a desk. He shook out the contents and slung it over his shoulder, might as well gather supplies while I'm at it.

His eyes lit up when he reached the hallway with the vending machines. A smirk tugged at his lips.

"I've always wanted to do this," he muttered, and with a sharp swing, his staff smashed through the glass of the first machine. The crack rang out like a gunshot. He reached inside, pulling out chips, crackers, candy, anything that didn't look expired.

He turned to the second machine, this one for drinks, and didn't hesitate. Another swing. The glass shattered. Bottles and cans tumbled forward. He grabbed a few and stuffed them into his bag.

Feeling accomplished, he made his way back to the gym, pushing the heavy door open with his shoulder.

Inside, Emma and Clarissa were already awake.

Emma was holding out her hand, brows furrowed in concentration. A small flame flickered above her palm. unstable and weak, but undeniably real. She gasped when she saw Julian return.

"Julian!" Emma called, her face lighting up. "You're back!"

Clarissa offered him a tired smile, brushing her hair behind her ear.

Emma stepped closer. "Thank you… for saving me," she said quietly.

Julian raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Don't mention it. I enjoyed it too."

Emma's cheeks flushed deep red. "W-What's that supposed to mean?" she stammered, flailing her hands, only for a small flame to shoot out and sizzle in the air.

Clarissa couldn't hold back a laugh, covering her mouth with her hand.

Julian just chuckled, closing the door behind him.

Julian swung the bag off his shoulder and set it down in front of the girls. "Here," he said simply. "Eat and drink first. You'll need the energy."

Emma and Clarissa exchanged glances before eagerly unzipping the backpack. The moment they peeked inside, their eyes widened, chips, chocolate bars, juice boxes, canned coffee, bottled water... more than enough for now.

Clarissa's stomach let out a loud gurgle.

"Uhh..." she let out a soft, embarrassed noise, cheeks slightly flushed.

Emma burst into laughter. "Clarissa, you sound like a hungry kitten!"

Clarissa rolled her eyes, grabbing a pack of cookies. "I need a lot of energy, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, sure you do," Emma teased with a grin.

They began to eat, tearing into the snacks greedily. The momentary silence was broken when Emma looked at Julian with curious eyes.

"So… does this mean I'm your slave now?" she asked bluntly.

Clarissa choked on her drink, coughing violently. "W-What?!"

Julian gave a relaxed chuckle. "You're mine. Both of you. That means I'll protect you, no matter what."

Emma's cheeks turned pink, but she gave a small smile. "I see... That's actually kind of nice."

She looked away shyly and returned to munching on her chocolate.

Once their hunger was somewhat eased, the three gathered closer and began discussing their next steps. Julian leaned against the wall, arms crossed, eyes thoughtful. Emma sat upright and serious for once.

"I want to go out and find my parents," she said. "They must be out there somewhere."

She turned to Clarissa. "What about you? Do you want to find your family too?"

Clarissa hesitated. Her eyes dropped to the floor. "...Not really," she muttered. "I don't care much about them."

Emma's face immediately fell. "Oh… I'm sorry. I didn't mean—"

"It's okay," Clarissa said softly, offering a small smile.

Then she looked to Julian. "What about you? Will you look for your family?"

Julian's expression darkened for a brief moment. "They're fine," he said with a strange calm. "I'm sure of it."

There was something cryptic in his tone, but neither girl pushed further.

Julian nodded. "Alright. Our goal is clear, get out of this school and find Emma's parents."

Emma's eyes lit up. "Thank you, both of you."

Clarissa gave a warm, sincere smile. "It's no problem. Really."

Julian nodded. "I want to see what's going on out there anyway. So don't worry."

Just then, a sound broke through the calm.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

All three heads turned toward the door of the gym storage.

A muffled voice followed. "Is anyone in there?"

Emma's eyes widened. "I know that voice…!"

She stood up quickly.

"That's… my friend. The one who left me behind…"
