The morning dragged on painfully slow as if it dwell in my misery. I couldn't sleep all night.

My mind had kept wandering back to Alpha Kaelith's room. I wondered what they were doing — did he kiss her like he did with me? I wanted the answer to be no...i wished it was but who was in fooling? It's obvious she was there for one thing...
My eyes sting with tears again but I furiously wiped at it, desperate not to let a drop fall again. I did nothing but cry throughout the night yesterday and it was a miracle Mara didn't hear all the sniffling.
If she had woken up, I don't know how I'll explain it to her that I was crying because I saw the Alpha with another woman. It didn't even make sense to me.
Thankfully, Alpha Kaelith had head out before breakfast this morning, so I didn't have to face him . As for the lady, I couldn't find her either though Drex told me she'll be back.
