Prince Damien's room
Eva walked inside the room having been told she was now the prince's personal maid .she couldn't help but smile,the head maid had told her that the prince didn't want a maid before but now he wants her ,when the other maids heard it they got angry and they kept sending her glares.
Eva let out her breath slowly staring at the interior,it was well designed,the shelves , curtain,bed were all black and beautiful like she had seen in her dreams.she immediately wondered what she needed to do since the room seemed fine.Just then the door opened and the prince walked in ,Eva couldn't help but admire his handsome features like his hazel eyes ,brown hair and the way his attire fitted him perfectly,as he walked his muscles bulged ,she really wanted to look away but couldn't.
"Who are you "Prince Damien asked her,still staring at her and studying her movement ,his stare seemed like he could see through her .
Still staring at the ground and with all the courage she could muster ,"I'm Eva , your highness ,the head maid said you chose me as your personal maid" .
Prince Damien stared at her ,that wasn't the answer he wanted though,he couldn't explain why he felt connected to her and his father told him that he could only feel like that when he found his mate . something inside him was forcing him to inhale her sweet scent and taste her blood.
Eva having noticed the prince's countenance asked "your highness can I help you with anything ".
"No",he answered in an angry tone expecting Eva to flinch like the other maids but instead she nodded and stood with her head bowed ,he was shocked but he didn't show it .
"You can go I'll call you when I need you", Damien said .
"Okay your highness ",Eva said and bowed slightly before leaving.
The prince laid on his bed as he thought of Eva , she's not that bad at least she isn't fearful.And I don't know if she will accept me like this but I'll make her fall for me ,he thought before closing his eyes and drifting into sleep.

Princess Lysia's office
Princess Lysia sat down in her office feeling ennui .she knew it had to do with the new boy ,she wondered how he was coping.she knew she was attracted to him somehow and he looked too handsome to be a prisoner or a singer too.she felt angry remembering what had happened.The maids kept flirting with Lucian,it seemed like they had not seen a handsome guy in their life ,after noticing the way he shifted uncomfortably anytime they made advances towards him she couldn't bear it and she had them punished.And when she noticed him sigh in relief ,she smiled , something in her wanted him for herself alone.
"Call me the singer",Lysia ordered her guard who left and returned with Lucian.
"Leave us",Lysia ordered with her hand gesturing for the guard to leave,he left leaving Lucian who kept staring at the floor.
"Look up and stop staring at the ground", princess Lysia said.Lucian looked up and when he saw her gazing at him he looked away.
Lysia chuckled softly,"You're a man ,you should not be acting all shy like a female,and please don't be scared of me ,I won't hurt you ",she spoke trying to sound friendly.
Lucian smiled,"thank you your highness,but you should know that I'm not scared ,it didn't feel right to stare directly at your face",He muttered hoping not to anger the princess.
"I want you to play for me , and I don't know your name", Princess Lysia asked
"I'm Lucian your highness", Lucian said and then began to play the guitar while singing.As he played Lysia took her time admiring his features,he was not too muscular and his blue eyes was so captivating, something about his scent was calming her nerves ,she has never felt so peaceful around a human.She stopped staring thinking it would make him uncomfortable,she then closed her eyes enjoying the song.
Meanwhile Lucian stared at her ,he had never seen anyone as beautiful as she was ,he observed her and concluded that she might be sleeping.He had heard rumors of her being a blood thirsty vampire since she couldn't control her hunger for blood,if she couldn't control it then why was he still alive,maybe there was more about her.
