Seeing Superman's attack, both Jonathan Kent and Clark broke out in a cold sweat. They had no doubt that if that blow had connected, they would both have been instantly killed. Clark couldn't help but refocus, his eyes fixed on Superman, who now stared at them with a primal fury.

Suddenly, Jonathan laughed, turning to Clark. "Ready to fight, Dad?"

Clark was too drained to respond. The physical pain and the immense power of Superman had sapped every ounce of his energy. He had nothing left to spare. But Jonathan knew better. Clark had been prepared for this, mentally and emotionally.

His battle on Paradise Island had proven his will to fight, even against overwhelming odds. With this thought, Jonathan discreetly hid a small sprinkler nozzle given to him by Damian Wayne behind his back and charged at Superman.

Clark was unsure what his son's plan was, but seeing Jonathan take the initiative, he knew he had to follow. To his horror, however, Jonathan didn't try to dodge Superman's attacks. Instead, he rushed straight toward him, as if intending to challenge the Man of Steel in a head-on clash of strength.

Is he insane? Clark thought, utterly terrified. He wants to match Superman's strength? We could barely scratch him before!

Powerless to stop it, Clark flew toward them, desperately trying to intervene before his son was killed.

Deadpool's earlier words proved true. Even with just one arm, Superman effortlessly overpowered Jonathan. With a single, devastating punch, Superman shattered his opponent's fist, then seized Jonathan's head in his massive palm. At Superman's strength level, Jonathan's head could be crushed in the blink of an eye.

Clark saw this and desperately tried to use his heat vision, but it was useless. The beams of energy simply washed over Superman, having no effect. Among Kryptonians, heat vision is the least effective offensive tool unless the power gap is enormous.

Just as Superman was about to end his son's life, Jonathan's hand, which had been hidden behind his back, shot forward. At nearly point-blank range, he activated the sprinkler nozzle.

A fine mist of green gas, mixed with green powder, enveloped Superman's head. Although Kryptonians don't need to breathe in space, Superman was caught completely off guard and inhaled a significant amount of the gas. Feeling his strength suddenly wane, he became even more enraged.

Releasing his grip on Jonathan, Superman instantly unleashed a powerful punch that sent his son flying. At the same time, his eyes flared with heat vision, intending to incinerate the boy who had outsmarted him.

In a last-ditch effort, Clark rushed to his son, shielding Jonathan with his arms, taking the full brunt of the heat vision.

Clark no longer felt the pain. Compared to the agony of being burned by red kryptonite cells, facing Superman's heat vision head-on was almost numb. Even so, he could feel his black armor melting under the intense heat. When Superman finally stopped his attack, Clark's armor had completely disintegrated, the molten metal clinging to his red and blue suit.

"Thanks, Joe…" Clark finally understood Jonathan's plan. His son had used himself as bait to weaken Superman. The green gas was a combination of Kryptonite powder and other unknown substances.

Superman's power was diminished again, which was the only reason Clark had survived the heat vision. With a gentle push, the unconscious Jonathan drifted away from the battlefield toward the Ark. Now, all hope rested on Clark alone.

"Superman, I'm lucky. I'm lucky I have parents just like yours, who are kind and love me with all their hearts." Clark tore away the last bits of the melted armor. His skin began to glow with a golden light, becoming translucent. "They taught me what love is. Love for myself, for my family, and for the world…"

The golden light intensified. Instead of recklessly absorbing solar energy, Clark chose to release all the energy he had stored at once, supercharging his body. Opposite him, Superman seemed to sense the threat and took a step back, but the virus quickly seized control again, compelling him to rush forward.

"I used to worry my family, hurt my friends, and I couldn't even love myself."

Clark, now a blinding sun, collided violently with Superman. Weakened once more, Superman was now evenly matched by Clark's surging power.

"That's why I admire you so much. When I learned we were the same person, I didn't hesitate to make you my goal. I wanted to be just like you, to protect everyone around me so they wouldn't get hurt or have to worry about me."

The two combatants separated and collided again, like two meteors in the dark void. Even from a distance, the people on the Ark could feel the tremors. The force of their collision in the vacuum of space sent shockwaves that vibrated through everyone.

"So… I understand you. I know how painful it is to hurt others without being able to stop it. I know you're the one suffering the most."

Superman's suit was torn in the repeated impacts, and he was now fighting bare-chested. Clark's suit was also melting from the intense heat he was emitting, which was far greater than the sun's. Only the House of El crest, the symbol of hope, remained clinging to his chest.

With one more collision, Clark's body flickered. He knew his time was running out. The next blow would decide everything.

"So, I will stop you. I'll do whatever it takes."

Gambling everything on this final attack, Clark unleashed all the solar energy stored in his body. His once-muscular frame shriveled before their eyes, but in exchange, he gained incredible speed and strength. With a force that seemed to tear through reality, Clark punched Superman directly in the face.

The next moment, a light brighter than a supernova illuminated the entire solar system.

Kansas, USA

The elderly couple who had hosted the Parkers eight years ago were busy on their farm. Suddenly, the old man felt an intense spike in temperature, and within seconds, he was drenched in sweat. He looked up to see a second sun slowly falling from the sky, plummeting into a valley near their farm.

Not far away, Lucian, driving a dirt bike and searching for something along a trail, also saw the fiery descent.

"Shit… Is God messing with me? This is America! There are no descendants of the sun here!"
