Dinner Time.
Su Yu looked at the plate of curry in front of him.
"I followed all the steps, so it should be fine… right?"
Yuigahama Yui stared at him, her tone a little unsure.
Su Yu didn't say anything. He picked up his spoon, scooped some rice with the curry, and took a bite.
Yuigahama Yui watched him closely.
But after finishing the first spoonful, Su Yu didn't give any comment—he simply went for a second bite.
"Su Yu-kun, how is it?" Yuigahama Yui couldn't hold back her curiosity.
"Kiss me, and I'll tell you." Su Yu glanced at her.
Without hesitation, Yuigahama Yui leaned in and placed a quick kiss on his cheek.
"It's good. Next time, let me cook instead." Su Yu finally gave his verdict.
"So it's not that good, huh?" Yuigahama Yui lowered her head in disappointment.
"Both Little Yukino and I have been cooking for a long time. Do you think you can surpass us in just a few weeks?" Su Yu flicked her forehead lightly.
"I… I'll work harder!" Yuigahama Yui perked up and smiled.
"Now hurry up and eat. Once we're done, you're in charge of cleaning up the kitchen." Su Yu continued eating.
"Leave it to me! I'll work hard as a good maid so Su Yu-kun won't be disappointed!" Yuigahama Yui joked.
Su Yu glanced at her but didn't respond.
After Dinner.
Su Yu went downstairs.
Ebina Hina and Miura Yumiko had already cleaned up Kawasaki's kitchen and were waiting for him.
Seeing them, Su Yu headed toward the door.
The two girls followed behind him.
Once they were far from Sakura Dormitory, Su Yu reached out his hand toward Miura Yumiko.
Blushing, she stepped closer and placed her small hand in his.
Su Yu held her hand tightly, looking straight ahead.
"Su Yu-kun, I heard from Yui that you wake up early to go jogging every morning. Are you doing it for the future?" Ebina Hina asked.
"Morning runs are just for staying in shape. It's got nothing to do with what you're thinking." Su Yu shot her a glance.
"A healthy body naturally has its advantages," Ebina Hina said with a smirk.
"This isn't exactly an appropriate conversation topic." Su Yu's tone was calm.
"I wasn't implying anything special. Just pure curiosity." Ebina Hina smiled playfully.
"Ask Yumiko about it in the future," Su Yu said, looking at Miura Yumiko.
Miura Yumiko's face turned completely red as she immediately understood his meaning. She shyly lowered her head.
Ebina Hina chuckled but didn't say more.
When they reached the train station, Su Yu watched as the two girls boarded before turning to leave.
He knew that Ebina Hina wasn't actually curious about that.
She was subtly reminding him—to properly handle their situation.
It wasn't possible to keep them all together. Even if they agreed, Su Yu himself wouldn't allow it.
Back at Sakura Dormitory.
As soon as Su Yu opened the door, he saw Yuigahama Yui standing there in a maid outfit.
"Welcome home, Master Su Yu," she said with a bow.
"Has Little Yukino returned?" Su Yu asked while changing his shoes, playing along.
"Lady Yukinoshita hasn't returned yet." Yuigahama Yui blinked.
"Come to the study with me," Su Yu said as he walked to his room.
Blushing, Yuigahama Yui followed him.
Inside the room, Su Yu switched on the lights, sat at his desk, and took out his drawing tools.
Then, he looked at Yuigahama Yui.
"Come here. I'll teach you how to draw."
"But Master Su Yu, I'm just a maid," Yuigahama Yui whispered, seemingly too deep into her role.
"If you're a maid, then you should follow my orders. Disobedient maids don't get to eat." Su Yu said nonchalantly.
"F-Fine…" Yuigahama Yui's face turned red as she stepped closer.
Su Yu pulled her into his lap and began teaching her how to use the drawing tools.
At first, she could still focus.
But as Su Yu's hands wandered, she found herself lowering her head shyly.
Then, all of a sudden, Su Yu stopped.
He looked at the girl in his arms with a surprised expression.
"Yui, you…"
"Su Yu-kun, kiss me."
Yuigahama Yui mustered up her courage and whispered.
Next Morning.
Before dawn, Su Yu woke up.
He glanced at Yuigahama Yui sleeping beside him and got dressed.
Last night, she had surprised him.
That surprise made him see her in a new light.
His little idiot… was sometimes quite bold.
He glanced at the maid outfit on the edge of the bed, then gently tucked the blanket around her before leaving the room.
Su Yu hadn't taken things too far.
Instead, after Yui had exhausted herself, she had simply fallen asleep in his arms.
Before that, he had taught her some important knowledge to make sure she wouldn't have trouble sleeping.
Downstairs.
As soon as he reached the first floor, Su Yu spotted Hiratsuka Shizuka yawning.
"Didn't sleep well last night?" Su Yu asked.
"Had trouble falling asleep," Hiratsuka Shizuka replied.
"If you don't exercise enough during the day, you won't feel tired at night, which makes it harder to sleep," Su Yu pointed out.
"That's not the reason," she shook her head.
"It's about that request, isn't it?" Su Yu quickly understood.
"There's still plenty of time, but when I think about the future, I can't sleep," Hiratsuka Shizuka said, looking at him.
Su Yu fell silent.
She didn't say anything else and simply walked toward the dormitory entrance.
They jogged all the way to the park.
The two of them sat down on a bench.
"Su Yu-kun, do you think miracles happen in this world?" Hiratsuka Shizuka gazed at the park scenery.
"They do." Su Yu answered without hesitation.
After all, the very fact that he had traveled to this world was already a miracle.
"Even if I do nothing, will they still happen?" She turned to look at him.
"They will." Su Yu paused before responding.
"If you were born ten years earlier, maybe I could take you to my father and have you pretend," Hiratsuka Shizuka sighed, withdrawing her gaze.
"Shizuka-sensei, who knows? Maybe one day I really will age ten years." Su Yu looked at her.
"Are you delusional?" Hiratsuka Shizuka rolled her eyes at him.
"Maybe," Su Yu chuckled.
Even though it was unlikely, with his abilities like memory enhancement and physical strengthening, who knew? Maybe some kind of transformation ability would pop up next.
"Su Yu-kun, I…"
"If you disappear without a word, I'll take a leave of absence and find you. If you secretly marry someone you don't love, I'll storm the wedding and stop you." Su Yu spoke slowly.
"You really don't want me to leave that badly?" Hiratsuka Shizuka's face turned slightly red.
"You once interfered in my love life. Now, I'm interfering in yours. That's my reason." Su Yu looked straight ahead.
Hiratsuka Shizuka was stunned for a moment.
Then, a faint smile appeared on her lips.
She could tell—this was a lie.
