Seraphina's POV
The sea was hitting on the fortress walls again, the sound of thunder was trying to tear the stone away from under our feet.
Myra's hand was still on my shoulder, steadying me as my son's cries sounded through out the chamber, each one making the wind outside twist harder.
"Breathe, Sera. He is already feeding on your fear." She said firmly.
I tried, Goddess really knows I tried. But my heart was filled with storm in my chest, and my grip on my son felt like the only thing keeping me from breaking up.
Kira was already at the door way, looking at the distance through the windows.
"Something is out there," she called, her voice sharp.
"What do you see?" Myra looked up, her brow furrowing.
Kira didn't answer her immediately. Her kneel had already rested on the edge of the balcony rail, and when she spoke again, her voice was tight. "You are not going to believe it."
