Caelum's POV
"She has gone," I said very quietly, looking down at the broken remains of the crystal orb.
"She had always been gone, because you let her run away from you, and now you are chasing after a ghosts while the pack breaks down." Elder Garran who had been going back and forth since the beginning of the meeting spoke up.
"Don't irritate me, Elder Garran. You are already passing your boundaries." I warned him.
"I don't think passing boundary is letting you know and understand that the pack is already breaking, and you should find the solution as soon as possible." Elder Garran continued, not minding my facial expression at that moment.
The room went silent, a single breath, and there was one heartbeat.
Then I moved very fast to where he was still sitting. My claws had cut through his throat before he even noticed that I had moved across the chamber. Garran fell backward, and collapsed in a heap of blood and silence.
