Synopsis
Kovenas, a modern strategist reborn as the heir to the Silvermane Tribe, finds himself in a world where lycans are hunted as abominations. Once rulers of the moonlit wilds, his clan now scrapes by in exile—until he merges human intellect with lycan ferocity to rebuild them into an empire… or die by vampire silver. A Culture of Moon and Might Lycans transform under the full moon into 8-foot predators, claws like obsidian, bound by the Lunar Pact—but giving in to the "Fury Howl" risks losing their humanity. Their society thrives on tradition: Elders read star-prophecies, while the War Wolf Cavalry—riders bonded with sentient direwolves—forms their martial spine. Yet two evils loom: the Bloodkin Dominion, vampires who harvest lycan hearts for immortality, and human Crusaders who wield silver bullets, which burn flesh and cripple regeneration. The Chieftain Who Defies Tradition Kovenas brings what no lycan has: tactics. He trains spies in human stealth, builds wolf-drawn siege engines, and allies with rebel humans—all while hiding the Wolf God’s Blessing, a power letting him transform at will and merge with his mount, Shadowclaw, into a Hybrid Warlord: part man, part beast, all terror. But not all trust his "soft" ways; Scarfang, a brutal warlord, challenges his leadership, believing lycans should rule through blood, not treaties. Silver: Doom and Destiny The Bloodkin’s new Silverstar Forge turns meteorite ore into bullets that rot lycan flesh, a threat Kovenas must outwit. He raids vampire vaults for the Wolf God’s Mantle, ancient armor said to nullify silver’s burn, and deciphers runes to weaponize moon magic: summoning storms to blind foes, fortresses to absorb silver’s poison. The choice is merciless: embrace their primal rage to survive, or rise as a civilized empire and risk losing the ferocity that makes them invincible. Why It Grips Like a Wolf’s Jaw Tribal Rebirth: From exile to empire—watch lycans rebuild a nation through espionage, magical warfare, and the forging of unlikely alliances. Gray Morality: Kovenas lies, manipulates, and sacrifices civilians to win. Is he saving his people… or becoming the monster they fear? East-Meets-West Fantasy: Sun Tzu with fangs—Eastern political cunning clashes with Western werewolf lore, creating a strategy-driven saga where brains and brawn battle for dominance. The moon calls. The pack answers. Empires are not built—they’re torn from the throat of history.Rise of the Lycan Empire blends Game of Thrones’ cutthroat politics with The Witcher’s mythic depth, asking: Can a human mind save a wolf’s soul… or doom it to darkness?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Beyond a vast mountainous forest stretching thousands of kilometers, on its eastern periphery lies a small camp. Dozens of warriors clad in armor stand in strict readiness.

At the center of these warriors, a youth lounges lazily on grass taller than an adult. A closer look reveals this youth is not human!

He has fluffy large ears, and though his face resembles a human's, his black nose is wolf-like, and two sharp fangs glinting with cold light protrude from his mouth! Especially striking is his hair, a blend of white and dark blue, like a lion's mane!

A werewolf!

Indeed, this youth is not human but belongs to the werewolf clan among the orcs! Naturally, the dozens of on guard warriors around him are also not human!

Just then, a figure nearly three meters tall dashes out from the deep forest. Instantly, the surrounding werewolf warriors rise, but there is no panic. After all, this figure quickly kneels beside the young werewolf and reports, "Young Chieftain, we discovered that pack of dire wolves three li away!"

"Oh?" "So quickly?" Kovenas immediately sits up from the ground, grabs a scimitar beside him, and stands up, brushing the weeds from his body! "How many are there?" Kovenas asks.

Kovenas!

No, it should be Zhou Hao. Two months ago, he was traveling in Shennongjia with friends when he for no reason arrived in this world! Moreover, he transformed from a pure human into a newly adult werewolf.

Thankfully, he became the "Silvermane" tribe's young chieftain, essentially the chieftain's adopted son! Although this Silvermane tribe has just over two thousand werewolves, it is neither the strongest nor the weakest among surrounding tribes. However, for Kovenas, he doesn't care if the tribe is strong or not; at least he wasn't cast as a beggar from the start, which comforts him.

As young chieftain, he naturally must grow stronger! Because this world has gods, and even mages, warriors, thieves, knights, and other professionals. Upon first hearing of this world, Kovenas was nearly ecstatic; as a seasoned fantasy enthusiast, arriving in such a world meant going wild!

Of course, growing stronger isn't easy. At least in these two months, he has experienced the difficulty of cultivation! Today, he came to the outskirts of this forest called the Blackwind Mountains, primarily to capture some dire wolves! As werewolves!

Dire wolf cavalry or even more advanced frost wolf cavalry are the ace cavalry of the orc tribes. The Silvermane tribe has dire wolf cavalry, but not many. First, there are no new bloodlines; the tribe's dire wolves have resorted to inbreeding, and many cubs die before weaning. Second, they can't afford to raise more. Currently, including females and cubs, the entire tribe has only a hundred-odd dire wolves, with 90% being male and belonging to his adoptive father's direct dire wolf cavalry.

And this wild dire wolf pack was accidentally discovered by him over a month ago. Because the Blackwind Mountains stretch thousands of miles and house many mana beast herds, even legendary mana beasts, which are like a dragon's den and tiger's cave (extremely dangerous) to Kovenas—he's not foolish enough to court death! If this dire wolf herd hadn't been lingering on the outskirts, he wouldn't have risked it.

"Including cubs, there should be over a hundred and twenty," the werewolf guard reports respectfully.

"That's a large number, but it's strange the leader is only a third-rank dire wolf," Kovenas says. A pack of over a hundred and twenty is substantial, yet its leader is only a third-rank dire wolf, which strikes him as odd! But strange as it is, he won't let this opportunity slip.

"All prepare immediately and follow me!" Kovenas doesn't hesitate; he looks at the fifty or so werewolf warriors around him and commands. These werewolf warriors are all 2.8 meters tall, a gift from his adoptive father. These fifty-odd adult warriors are his personal guard, or his private army. This is rare in the tribe because the entire tribe has only seven to eight hundred adult werewolf warriors. His adoptive father allowing him to recruit fifty-odd private soldiers is, in his opinion, very hard to understand! After all, what emperor would allow his son to have a private army? Especially such a large proportion! Although he doesn't understand his father's actions, he naturally won't refuse! These fifty-odd are all handpicked elites by him.

"Yes!"

Soon, as Kovenas dives into the jungle, the fifty-odd warriors follow closely. Kovenas and the fifty-odd werewolf warriors are no ordinary orcs. Kovenas is already a fourth-rank warrior, and the other werewolf warriors are at least second-rank, so they move very fast. In just a few minutes, Kovenas and his group are less than two hundred meters from the dire wolf pack!

"Everyone spread out carefully and try to capture the females and cubs!" Kovenas whispers. The reason he wants to capture females and cubs is mainly for breeding, especially cubs, which can be trained from a young age to bond closely with werewolf warriors. Adult wild dire wolves require time to tame, but the tribe has beast tamers, so he's not worried! However, the success rate of capturing adult dire wolves is much lower.

"Young Chieftain, look, that's the pack leader!" A warrior carefully points to it. Kovenas takes a look!

Mana Beast: Dire Wolf (Pack Leader)Rank: Third RankAttribute: WindSkills: ......

Soon, all information about this dire wolf leader appears in his mind! "This pack leader is so weak. If we capture it, maybe we can take the entire pack!" Kovenas says. "Give me the advanced beast trap net!" "Yes!" The werewolf warrior quickly hands a beast trap net to Kovenas. Kovenas looks at the beast trap net in his hand; an advanced beast trap net can capture fifth-rank mana beasts, more than enough for a third-rank pack leader!

Hundreds of meters away, the dire wolf pack hasn't sensed the surrounding danger. Cubs are still playing with their mothers, and the pack leader is lazily lying on the ground resting. Suddenly, a figure leaps over the trees, and in the blink of an eye, it's above the pack leader. At the same time, figures appear from all directions. The pack leader instantly rises, about to howl, when a large net falls from the sky. The pack leader turns to flee, but the net falls too fast, like a thousand-pound stone, instantly covering the pack leader. At the same time, beast trap nets fall over cubs and other dire wolves.

"Don't waste your energy. How can a mere third-rank mana beast like you break free from this net!" Kovenas says, jumping from the tree to near the pack leader as it keeps biting and its claws glow with wind magic to try to break free from the beast trap net. Just then, several lucky dire wolves that escaped charge fiercely at Kovenas, apparently trying to save the pack leader. "Hmph, a bunch of second-rank creatures. Instead of fleeing for your lives, you dare to attack? Court death!" Kovenas punches out, and a charging second-rank dire wolf lets out a 惨叫 and flies backward. At the same time, Kovenas' feet turn into afterimages, and two dire wolves pouncing from the side also cry out and fly backward.
