In a hotel in Bayam's Dock District, Klein, leaning on the bed, opened his eyes.

Taking a deep breath, he quickly stood up from the bed, his gaze sweeping around the room to confirm that no one or rabbit had entered, before he relaxed.

As he took a step towards the door, thick, verdant vines suddenly descended around him. These vines intertwined, swiftly forming a forest.

A phantom light then appeared before him, as if composed of pure, complex knowledge. They converged in mid-air, rapidly reconstructing Bernadette's form.

The sudden change made Klein's spirit tense, but upon seeing the familiar scene and figure, he relaxed.

He bowed to her, and just as he was about to speak, Bernadette's voice sounded faster than his:

"What did he do? Even the Primordial Demoness herself descended part of her consciousness here, and it even attracted the Lord of Storms's divine punishment."

... Klein opened his mouth, unsure how to answer. He didn't fully understand the details of the previous battle either.

After a moment of silence, he pondered and said:

"Back in Backlund, he snatched a Conqueror Characteristic from the Demoness Sect. That seemed to be the reward given by the Loen Royal Family in cooperation with the Demoness Sect."

Bernadette nodded slightly, asking with unconcealed doubt:

"Conqueror Characteristic? He wasn't even Sequence 4 at that time?"

"It should be Sasrir's help," Klein said, weighing his guess.

Bernadette nodded noncommittally, directly skipping this topic and saying:

"He is very important to the Hidden Sage. When something happened to him, the Hidden Sage directly descended, though He quickly retreated under the dual pressure of the Lord of Storms and the Primordial Demoness."

"However, I suspect He intentionally retreated at that time."

As she spoke, she kept looking at Klein, seemingly observing his reaction.

Madam, you don't need to probe like this, I don't know more than you do, Klein sighed inwardly, but showed no emotion on his face.

Relying on his Faceless ability, he maintained his Gehrman Sparrow persona in front of Bernadette.

Wait, her tone when speaking to me is as if we've known each other for a long time... Klein looked at Bernadette with a hint of confusion.

She chuckled, seemingly not surprised by Klein's reaction, and said with little change in tone:

"The identity of Gehrman Sparrow was arranged by Sharron, who entrusted me with it at a gathering in Backlund. And, you also have that rabbit with you."

"I see." Although his identity had been exposed, Klein still maintained his persona, responding in an even tone.

Bernadette glanced at Klein, and continued her previous words in a calm voice:

"I happened to be in the Rorsted Sea recently and paid some attention to that battle."

"The Hidden Sage left too decisively, as if someone had just transmitted a message to Him at that time, telling Him not to interfere in this matter."

Telling the Hidden Sage not to interfere... The one who could do this must be a true god or an evil god... Most likely the God of Knowledge... Thoughts floated in Klein's mind. He vaguely felt that the other party's scheme in this matter was not just because of Ankewelt.

The wisest dragon, who knows what He is thinking, it seems everything is within His plan.

"You seem to have some guesses?"

Bernadette's voice interrupted Klein's contemplation. He controlled his expression well with his Faceless ability, shaking his head slightly and saying:

"No, just some inferences."

"Al was taken to the Mirror World. Do you have any good ways to rescue him?"

Bernadette seemed to have no intention of pressing further. She followed Klein's words and replied:

"You can use that Conqueror Characteristic to exchange with the Demoness Sect. That's what they hope for most."

"If you don't want to hand over that Conqueror Characteristic, then you must rescue him before he is taken to the Demoness Sect's headquarters. This time won't be too long."

"As for the Mirror World, strictly speaking, it's not a real world. It's more like a collection of Doors, connecting different mirrors and different mysterious kingdoms. If you get lost inside, you might directly appear in the Abyss, or even the Cosmos. You can start from this aspect."

More like a collection of Doors? The Pathway corresponding to Sefirah Castle happens to be the Apprentice Pathway. If I start from this aspect, can I directly connect that Mirror World to the Spirit World, or even directly to the Gray Fog?

A general idea emerged in Klein's mind, but whether it could be achieved would only be known after trying in the space above the Gray Fog. Just being a demigod might not be enough. He would ask for Mr. Azik's opinion after he arrived.

While contemplating, Klein saw Bernadette suddenly turn her head to the side. Her eyes still had a deep blue, almost purple glow, as if she was gazing at something.

After a slight hesitation, he heard her slightly contemplative voice:

"Someone is coming—an Angel. His state seems not very good; there's a feeling of something missing."

"He is here for you," Bernadette retracted her gaze and turned to look at Klein, stating this with certainty.

Mr. Azik, he came so fast!... As thoughts flickered, Klein looked at Bernadette in front of him and nodded slightly:

"It should be. I wrote a letter asking for help."

Bernadette nodded gently:

"If you need help, you can find me. That rabbit knows how to contact me."

As her words fell, the surrounding forest, formed by layered vines, quickly faded in color, transforming into countless pure, complex streams of information that surged into the distance.

Klein only felt a blur before his eyes, and when he regained his senses, he was back in his room, in the position he had been standing in.

His spiritual perception suddenly stirred, and he turned his head to his right. A familiar figure quickly outlined itself there: Mr. Azik, wearing a black suit and a silk top hat.

Klein's lips curved slightly upward. Azik's appearance put him greatly at ease.

"Was there another presence here just now? I felt some danger from Her. Her gaze made me uncomfortable; it felt as if all secrets would be hard to conceal under such a gaze."

Azik's gaze swept around the room, then he focused on Klein.

Klein nodded gently:

"It was Queen Mystic. She has already advanced to Sequence 2. I tried to seek her help and consult on some questions."

At this point, he remembered Queen Mystic's words just now, and without concealing his gaze, he observed Azik for a moment and said:

"Queen Mystic just mentioned to me that she said you have a feeling of something missing. I feel this should be more than just a memory loss; there should be other aspects as well."

Azik nodded slightly, saying with not much surprise:

"I had some guesses about that. Once your matter here is resolved, I will go find her and ask her about it."

"I can help you contact her. She should not be leaving the Rorsted Sea for now."

Klein nodded in response, then explained the general course of events and the current situation to Azik.
