A moment later, the Prophet Clone nodded almost imperceptibly, then closed his eyes and quickly entered a meditative state, his spirituality beginning to vibrate with a peculiar rhythm.

Ripples of faint blue, like water waves, spread outwards, and behind him, a slowly rotating ring made of countless gears emerged.

In the center of the ring, an illusory book continuously flipped its pages.

As the ring behind him appeared, the Prophet Clone felt the connection between himself and his True body become clearer. Fortunately, those Demonesses hadn't thrown his True body into the Concealed World, or he truly wouldn't have been able to find it. It was still a little short; he couldn't determine his True body's current state.

As thoughts flickered, the Prophet Clone softly chanted:

"Favored of knowledge and Mysteries, the wise one from the unknown, the eye that gazes upon True knowledge, the calamity of the Rorsted Archipelago, the great Al Tines!"

With Klein's help, he transmitted his prayer to Tines through the Spirit World. Although his petrified True body couldn't actively respond, it would still automatically respond to prayers.

Because he hadn't spread his Sequence 3 honorific name, Leyton wasn't worried that someone would use it to reverse-locate him or be disturbed by frequent prayers, so he had never blocked the automatic response to prayers.

As the chanted honorific name received a response, the Prophet Clone almost immediately used it to reverse-locate his True body and perceive his current situation:

It was a dim region, like being on a dim, illusory, not-quite-True road, surrounded by many such roads, layered and intertwined, forming a complex and mysterious "spiderweb."

A blurry grey-white stone statue, as if held up by an invisible force, continuously moved forward on this dim, illusory, not-quite-True road. In the eyes of the statue, a faint starlight eerily diffused, like a living thing.

"...Mirror World."

The Prophet Clone sighed slightly, and the image in his mind quickly subsided. Observing for too long might alert the surrounding Demonesses to an anomaly.

In a "Mind Connection" state, both parties can share senses. The images that appeared in the Prophet Clone's mind and his thoughts were all clearly received by Klein.

Klein nodded thoughtfully, sighing slightly. He didn't understand the Mirror World.

The Seer Pathway also doesn't seem to have abilities in this area. However, I can enter the Mirror World in spirit form... But if I directly rush into the Mirror World to rescue someone, I'll probably just get my equipment dropped by the Demonesses waiting there.

As he pondered, his gaze fell on the peculiar crown he held in his hand. He tried to borrow power from the Prophet Clone to raise his strength to the demigod level.

The boundless Gray Fog around them suddenly surged violently, seemingly responding to Klein, cheering for the appearance of the ruler of this Gray Fog.

Sequence 4 is not only a qualitative change in one's own strength but also the key to gradually controlling this Gray Fog.

As a thought just crossed Klein's mind, he heard the Prophet Clone's words:

"At Sequence 4, you should be able to relatively easily borrow some of Sefirah Castle's abilities, and no longer be limited only to the special status brought by this Gray Fog."

Klein nodded gently, his tone leisurely:

"It's time to contact that former Dragon of Imagination."

As his words fell, he leveraged the power of this Gray Fog, pouring his spirituality into that grey-white scale.

On the grey-white scale, strange patterns began to extend outwards, gradually outlining a complete mystical symbol...

Just staring at it made one feel mentally deranged, thoughts distorted, and the Spirit Body became tainted with various thoughts that seemed to come from within, producing a strong urge for self-destruction.

Is this really just a scale? It feels like that drop of mythical creature blood Al analyzed before... As he pondered, Klein, relying on his control over this Gray Fog, released the restrictions of this space, allowing the scale to successfully establish a connection with the Mind World.

With the establishment of the connection, another deep red star appeared above this boundless Gray Fog. It continuously expanded, sending out circles of deep red ripples.

Klein then extended his spirituality, touching this newly appeared deep red star.

Deep red light instantly surged forth, engulfing most of the palace, then quickly retracted, condensing into a somewhat blurry image.

In the image, a grey-white giant dragon was nestled in a deep, dark sea. He looked up at the sky, at the spiritual sky that enveloped everything—that was the Spirit World's reflection on the mental level.

"...The Fool." A murmuring whisper came from his mouth.

Klein tilted his head slightly, his gaze sweeping to the Prophet Clone sitting beside him. A self-muttering thought echoed directly in his mind:

"Let's communicate this way. The demigod power brought by 'Mind Connection' can only sustain a facade. Once we meet face to face, He can easily detect the problem."

Klein nodded thoughtfully. He also thought the same.

After making the decision, Klein directly cast the image the Prophet Clone had just probed through the honorific name and his True body's connection, as well as his own words, into this deep red star.

"Bring him back. The reward is Groselle's Travels, and my promise."

After doing all this, Klein and the Prophet Clone exchanged glances, communicating silently through "Mind Connection":

"How will my promise be fulfilled? What if He wants me to help him return to Sequence 0?"

"He won't directly make such a request; it's not equivalent. There's a greater chance He'll ask for some help when retrieving Liveseyd, where some corruption from Chaos Sea is sealed."

"Are you sure I can solve this?"

"Solving the corruption isn't difficult; just throw it into this Gray Fog. The difficult part is how to extract the corruption... If you have an item of the Diviner or Marauder pathway at the angel level, it would be easy... I can find some Worms of Time with angel status for you to try."

"...Amon!" When Worm of Time was mentioned, Amon's image automatically appeared in Klein's mind. A chill surged through him, and he quickly erased Amon's image from his mind.

In the deep, dark collective subconscious sea, Ankewelt quietly lay coiled on a mental island. His pale golden vertical eyes gazed blankly at the sky.

In his vision, boundless Gray Fog surged around, and in the deepest part of these Gray Fogs, a blurry figure sat leisurely on a high-backed chair, tall and majestic, as if a god overlooking the world.

Even as a Sequence 2 Discerner, He could not peer through these grey-white mists to see the other party.

Is this Sefirah Castle? A completely different feeling from Chaos Sea, more Mystical, more elusive...

As thoughts just began to turn, deep red light suddenly rose from the surrounding Gray Fog, surging like a tide, quickly condensing into a slightly blurry image.

At the same time, a leisurely voice, showing no obvious emotion, echoed:

"Bring him back. The reward is Groselle's Travels, and my promise."

A promise... This The Fool hopes I can reclaim some of my former power... Not meeting me directly suggests that his state might not be too good. A characteristic of Attendant of Mysteries seems to have been missing. Has he come alive? Or has Sefirah Castle come alive?

After a brief silence, Ankewelt spoke cheerfully:

"Yes, but the Mirror World is not a domain I understand. To bring him back from there, I need some help to locate him."

"Granted." As The Fool's response fell, an honorific name appeared in His vision.

A moment later, the dense grey-white mist around him receded, and his vision quickly cleared. The surroundings were still the deep, dark sea, and islands of consciousness standing in the sea.

"Favored of knowledge and Mysteries? It's not a favored of this Fool or Sefirah Castle."

"Have the awakened Sefirah also started to cooperate? Did my former subsidiary god, after two betrayals, choose Sefirah as an ally?"

Ankewelt murmured softly, as if talking to himself, or as if mocking something.

Immediately, he flapped the two grey wings behind him, stirring up ripples on the deep, dark sea surface, splashing drops of crystal-clear water, and flowing out layers of light and shadow.

This caused a certain unrest in the subconsciousness gathered around, manifesting in living beings as sudden emotional instability, with inexplicable sadness or joy filling their hearts.
