In the study, Leyton held a ball of fiery red and light blue intermingled demonic characteristics.
Blue and white light swirled in his eyes, so much so that his eyeballs were not visible, and beside him, there was a trembling Bugs Bunny.
He sighed softly, leaned back in his chair, waved his hand and said, "Alright, let's stop here for today."
Bugs Bunny immediately fled the study as if escaping.
Glancing at the open door, Leyton placed the characteristics back into the iron cigarette case and sealed it with a Wall of Spirituality.
"It seems I still need the characteristics or main ingredients of an Desire Apostle potion. The manifestation of desire in demons is more about the influence they receive themselves."
"Moreover, Bugs Bunny is too timid. I can't even distinguish whether its fear and unease come from the influence of the demonic characteristics or just its own simple fear."
Muttering to himself, Leyton tossed the special cigarette case containing the characteristics onto the storage cabinet close to the wall.
He lowered his gaze towards the door, someone was about to knock.
Leyton walked to the study door and closed it.
Blue and white light swirled in Leyton's eyes again as he slowly released his spirituality, drawing a symbolic 'door' on the door.
Layers of ripples spread out, and the study door was mysteriously connected to the living room door downstairs.
Stepping back two paces, the door was pushed open from the other side.
Klein and the translucent Miss Sharron walked in from the other side of the door.
"Is this the ability of the Master Key?" Klein curiously looked back at the door behind him, which had returned to normal.
Leyton nodded slightly: "More or less. I made adjustments based on the Master Key's ability."
After answering Klein's question, he then turned his gaze to Miss Sharron:
"Is there something you need from me?"
Miss Sharron, pale but exquisitely beautiful, quietly gazed at Leyton, slowly opened her mouth, and spoke in a calm, unruffled voice:
"I'd like to ask for your help!"
"Help? The Rose School of Thought's Indulgence Faction is hunting you down?"
When Leyton saw Miss Sharron appear, he pretty much guessed what it was about.
Sharron, wearing a small black soft hat, nodded slightly, acknowledging Leyton's words, then calmly said:
"Among those pursuing me, one is a Sequence 5. He possesses a sealed artifact that greatly restrains me, but it won't affect you."
A faint, subtle blue glow appeared in Leyton's eyes as he stared directly at Sharron and Klein before him.
After two breaths, the subtle blue glow in his eyes completely vanished, and Leyton curved his lips into a smile:
"No problem, but if possible, I hope to acquire the Beyonder characteristic or sealed artifact left behind after that Wraith's death."
The pale Sharron nodded in response with almost no hesitation:
"You can!"
Leyton was slightly surprised that Sharron agreed so quickly to his request. The Wraith's characteristics were also greatly needed by Maric, who was currently a Zombie.
After nodding slightly to the ethereal Sharron, he said:
"Time and place, just let me know once you've decided."
"Okay."
Sharron's voice became somewhat ethereal, and then her entire figure faded and disappeared.
Leyton glanced at the glass window beside him; Miss Sharron had entered the Mirror World and was moving away from this area.
He then looked at Klein, who showed no intention of leaving, and Leyton got up to pour himself and Klein a cup of coffee.
Leyton handed a cup of coffee to Klein and asked, "Do you have any questions that need answering?"
Klein took the coffee, took a small sip, and placed it on the desk beside him, then asked:
"Are you familiar with the Prisoner Pathway? And the Shaman King."
"The Prisoner Pathway? Didn't Miss Sharron tell you? Given your cautious nature, you should have already inquired about it."
"As for the Shaman King, that's a Sequence 4 of the Apothecary Pathway. Among the Sanguine, the corresponding title is Sanguine Earl!"
Leyton glanced at Klein, realizing that he was out of caution wanting to re-inquire about the Prisoner Pathway information to see if it matched what Miss Sharron had provided.
"Sanguine Earl?"
Klein was somewhat surprised, not expecting the Shaman King to be from the Apothecary Pathway.
He recalled the man he had met earlier, suspected to be a plump Apothecary, who displayed traits related to beast taming. Klein felt that the sequence advancements of each pathway seemed to be completely unrelated.
Seeing Klein in a thoughtful state, Leyton assumed he was pondering why the Rose School of Thought would be connected to the Shaman King, so he further explained:
"Some Followers of the Primeval Moon within the Rose School of Thought are mostly Beyonders of the Apothecary Pathway."
"The Life School of Thought had a split before, and the members who believed in the Primordial Moon joined the Rose School of Thought."
"Why would Followers of the Primeval Moon join the Rose School of Thought?"
Klein was a bit curious; it was the first time he had heard of a sect believing in multiple deities.
"Perhaps, as objects of animosity from all righteous gods and evil gods, they want their followers to band together for warmth!"
Leyton did not dwell too much on this topic. Discussing these matters with Klein now would be too dangerous.
He merely spoke a brief sentence, then changed the subject:
"Have you already agreed to Miss Sharron's request?"
Klein shook his head and replied:
"Not yet. I want to make a decision after some divination and understanding."
"Very much in line with a Seer's style!"
Leyton raised an eyebrow noncommittally and said.
"A Seer's style? I always feel like you have some strange perception of Seers."
Klein spoke his mind.
Leyton smiled slightly, not answering the question.
Klein continued to chat in the study for a while, then he got up and took his leave.
The next morning, in Viscount Glaint's study, Viscount Glaint convened a small tea party, mainly because he had gathered all the materials for his Apothecary potion and was preparing to become a Beyonder.
To test the effectiveness of Spirit World Sorcerer on ordinary people, Leyton also attended today's tea party.
"Mr. Tines, do you know? Even though I haven't consumed the potion yet, I can already perform some simple divinations and tricks."
Viscount Glaint excitedly told Leyton about his progress, and also generously demonstrated some tricks he had learned to everyone.
Viscount Glaint took out a piece of white paper, sprinkled some herbal powder on it, then closed his eyes and meditated for a moment, adjusting his state.
He gently glided his hand over the white paper with the herbal powder, and a slight spiritual vibration spread out.
Then, the white paper spontaneously ignited, quickly burning to ashes.
"Because my own spirituality is limited, I have to rely on some casting materials to perform this trick."
"But as soon as I drink the potion and become a Beyonder, this restriction will disappear. I've already consulted, and Pharmacists are also one of the pathways with relatively strong inherent spirituality."
Viscount Glaint said proudly.
"That's already very good!" Leyton praised.
Leyton's gaze remained on him, a faint purple glow flashing in his eyes, seeing Viscount Glaint's condition clearly.
It's still a bit difficult for an ordinary person who hasn't consumed a potion to materialize that ring behind them through meditation and their own spirituality. There's a certain talent constraint!
He sighed inwardly, then his gaze fell on the golden retriever standing beside Audrey.
The golden retriever's spiritual light indicated that it was calmly observing and thinking.
Withdrawing his gaze, Leyton sighed inwardly: "What a qualified Spectator!"
Subsequently, Viscount Glaint, under everyone's gaze, prepared a bottle of Apothecary potion.
Following Fors's suggestion, he first adjusted his state through meditation, then drank the potion in one gulp.
Perhaps due to having already come into contact with the Spirit World and becoming a Spirit World Sorcerer, Viscount Glaint quickly adapted to the changes brought by the potion, becoming a Sequence 9 Apothecary.
Viscount Glaint, having familiarized himself with his changes, wore a bright smile:
"My mind is filled with so much information about plants, and how to use them to make potions with different effects. And I feel my resistance to poisons has been somewhat strengthened."
Leyton scanned him once, then withdrew his gaze, and then congratulated him with a smile:
"Congratulations, you've become a true Apothecary!"
Everyone present congratulated him one or two times, and then the conversation shifted to other topics.
Fors's gaze shifted to Audrey and said:
"That gathering where Audience formulas and Psychology Alchemists clues might appear is about to be convened, this afternoon."
"Why so rushed?" Audrey asked, somewhat puzzled.
Xio, sitting nearby, answered the question:
"Because that serial murder case has delayed everyone's plans too much, and that area is in the northern suburbs. The Nighthawks are most relaxed in the afternoon."
"Because the Nighthawks, after staying up all night, finally can't bear it and need to catch up on sleep. Sleepless should really be called 'Overnighters'!"
Leyton, leaning back in a chair, thought of those Sleepless who liked to invert day and night, and inwardly complained about them.
Audrey nodded gently, her gaze sweeping around, finally resting on Leyton:
"Mr. Tines, will you come with us?"
Audrey hoped he would join them. Having a powerful Beyonder with them would be much safer, and they wouldn't have to worry about potentially malicious individuals at the Beyonder gathering.
"Me?" Leyton looked up, meeting Audrey's gaze.
A slight burning sensation came from his left forearm. The words he was about to say, that he wouldn't go, paused for a moment. His tone was very natural as he changed what he was about to say:
"Yes, I happen to have something to do over there as well."
