After giving The Sun Derrick and Klein, who was eavesdropping nearby, some time to reflect, Leyton continued, "The seven Pathways corresponding to the Seven Deities are Sleepless, Planter, Warrior, Bard, Sailor, Reader, and Savant."
"Among them, the Bard, Sailor, and Reader Pathways previously belonged to the authority of the 'Lord Who Created Everything' whom your City of Silver believes in."
After telling The Sun some information about the Seven Deities, Leyton leaned back slightly, waiting for his reply.
The Sun Derrick was originally still immersed in the thought of how lucky the God of Steam and Machinery was, but his attention quickly shifted to the Lord Who Created Everything.
Recalling the five Omnipotent and Omniscient Pathways that Leyton had mentioned before, The Sun looked up at the casually posed Leyton and asked, "Mr. Tower, are the five Omnipotent and Omniscient Pathways you once mentioned all part of the authority of the Lord Who Creates Everything, whom we in the City of Silver believe in?"
"Yes." Leyton nodded slightly.
The Sun Derrick pursed his lips. With the Lord's authority scattered among the gods, he had a very bad premonition:
"Does the authority of the Lord Who Created Everything, whom we in the City of Silver believe in, still exist?"
"It does not exist."
After a slight hesitation between telling the truth and deceiving The Sun, Leyton chose to deceive The Sun.
The faith of the City of Silver was very important, or rather, the faith in the Forsaken Land of the Gods was very important.
Now, the faiths of the Northern Continent and Western Continent had been divided up by the Seven Deities and many evil gods. Klein's identity as the The Fool needed faith, and he also needed to prepare a normal faith for the Hermit, not just rely on the heretics of the Moses Ascetic Order.
In a sense, it wasn't really deceiving The Sun, after all, what existed now were Adam and the True Creator. Leyton found an excuse for himself in his heart.
Although The Sun was disappointed, he had already guessed this answer in his heart. He quickly adjusted his emotions and said, "I understand."
"Mr. Tower, what do you wish to ask? As long as I know it, I will tell you everything."
Leyton nodded slightly. The Sun adjusted his emotions faster than he had expected. He leaned forward from his high-backed chair, placed his hands on the long bronze table, and stared unblinkingly at The Sun as he spoke, "Does your City of Silver have any thoughts of believing in other deities?"
"Huh? Mr. Tower, I…" The Sun was stunned for a moment, completely unprepared for such a question. He hesitated, unsure how to answer.
"For example, Mr. Fool, or others?"
"Mr. Fool? Others?"
The Sun murmured twice, unsure how to answer.
Klein, shrouded in Gray Fog at the head of the table, was equally surprised that Leyton would ask this question. Klein watched Leyton, who seemed to have become serious.
He began to ponder the purpose of Leyton's question: "Preparing the anchor he mentioned earlier? For himself?"
Klein raised a finger and lightly tapped the long bronze table. He needed to end this topic as the The Fool.
"Faith should align with its ideals, faith should come from the heart…"
"Thank you for your guidance. Your wish will be obeyed." Leyton consciously stood up and bowed, ending the topic.
Then he turned to The Sun, who was sitting beside him, and in the tone of a commissioned task, he said, "May I exchange your reward for a favor from you?"
"What favor?" The Sun was still a bit slow to react.
After Leyton sat back in his seat, he cleared his throat and said, "You can recite an honorific name in the City of Silver. I can guarantee there will be no danger or side effects. Mr. Fool can bear witness to this."
"No problem."
Klein, shrouded in Gray Fog, could roughly guess what the honorific name was, and he himself was curious whether a prayer directed at this honorific name could pass out of the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
The Sun Derrick, who had been somewhat conflicted, nodded slightly after receiving Mr. Fool's affirmation, and asked cautiously, "Alright, what is the honorific name? Which existence does it point to?"
Leyton tilted his head slightly, preparing to temporarily invent a title for Knowledge Moor, but with the existence of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom already, it was difficult to think of one, as the other party had already occupied the most crucial words, knowledge and wisdom.
Leyton, with a blank mind, couldn't come up with a suitable title, so he had to use an existing one.
He cleared his throat, deliberately making his voice sound more emotional, and said, "You can call Him the Divine Erudition. He is the embodiment of all knowledge, the light of civilization."
"The honorific name pointing to Him is: The Essence of Knowledge, The Root of Mystery, The Radiance of Civilization, The Guardian of Truth."
"Knowledge, Civilization, are these the authorities He holds? They feel more conceptual than things like Storm, Lightning, or Light."
"Knowledge should refer to the Mystery Pryer pathway, then is Civilization the Savant Pathway?"
Klein, shrouded in Gray Fog, pondered the information in Leyton's words.
"The embodiment of all knowledge? The light of civilization?"
The Sun Derrick murmured to himself. He had never heard of this honorific name, this title, or a deity who wielded these two authorities.
Neither the Lord Who Created Everything, whom the City of Silver believed in, nor the evil gods in the myths and legends, held these two authorities. The only similar one was the God of Knowledge and Wisdom among the Seven Deities, whom he had just learned about.
Seeing The Sun fall into thought, Leyton was not in a hurry. He leaned back in his high-backed chair and added, "If you don't mind the trouble, you can use a mystical ritual. He likes to disseminate knowledge, and it can also serve as your reward."
Under the concealment of the Gray Fog, Klein took off the citrine pendant on his wrist and subtly performed a divination.
This action is dangerous.
This action is dangerous.
This action is dangerous.
Closing his eyes, he silently repeated the divination phrase three times. When Klein opened his eyes, he found the citrine pendant in his hand rotating slowly counter-clockwise.
"As long as no accidents happen, it's safe." Klein quickly concluded.
Then he lightly tapped the long bronze table and said in a calm voice, "He can be trusted!"
"Thank you for your reminder, Mr. Fool." The Sun Derrick nodded slightly towards Mr. Fool at the head of the table, expressing his gratitude.
Then he turned to Leyton, who was sitting leisurely in a high-backed chair beside him, and said, "Mr. Tower, I agree to your trade. I will perform a mystical ritual after this gathering ends. I will report the result to Mr. Fool."
"No problem." Leyton nodded slightly in response.
Leyton and The Sun's private conversation was complete. Afterwards, everyone shared some experiences with each other. However, Leyton mostly just listened quietly.
It wasn't until Mr. Fool, sitting at the head of the long bronze table, announced the end of the gathering that the figures of the attendees successively transformed into crimson light and vanished from the space above the Gray Fog.
After everyone left, Klein took out the Master Key that Leyton had given him earlier and, somewhat curiously, performed a divination.
Klein was very curious about how this Mystical Item became corrupted by Mr. Door's influence.
Klein materialized paper and pen and wrote down a divination phrase:
"Its origin."
Immediately, Klein tightly gripped the Master Key, silently recited the divination phrase, and quickly entered slumber.
In his dream, Klein saw the origin of this Mystical Item:
An unlucky and foolish Abraham Family member drank a bottle of potion on a full moon night, immediately losing control and transforming into a Monster, finally exploding into a puddle of flesh and blood, leaving behind only this Master Key.
The gathering above the Gray Fog ended, and Leyton returned to his study, enveloped in a crimson, tide-like light.
Leyton rose from his high-backed chair, stretched his body, and then quietly waited for The Sun in the City of Silver to use the mystical ritual to try and contact Knowledge Moor.
Leyton wanted to test whether Knowledge Moor would respond to prayers from other people in the outside world, or if it would, as before, simply dump all corresponding prayers onto him.
After waiting for about half an hour in the study, Leyton suddenly felt layers of indistinct voices echoing in his ears. The voices were somewhat intermittent, like a bad signal.
However, he could still roughly make out The Sun's prayer to Knowledge Moor, a prayer from the City of Silver:
"The Essence of Knowledge, The Root of Mystery, The Radiance of Civilization, The Guardian of Truth…"
Leyton closed his eyes and listened carefully to The Sun's plea, sighing in relief after confirming that the seal of the Forsaken Land of the Gods could not block prayers directed at Knowledge Moor.
But then he frowned again. The fact that he could hear prayers directed at Knowledge Moor indicated that He had completely left him in charge of all matters outside the Western Continent.
Why is Knowledge Moor so confident in letting me handle matters outside the Western Continent? Is it because He can completely control me?
But how am I supposed to respond? I'm not like Klein, who can directly use the power of a Sefirah.
He shook his head slightly, temporarily suppressing other thoughts.
He gently placed his right hand on his left forearm and whispered, "Help me, I need to use the Sage's ability."
Without waiting for a response from the mass of flesh residing within him, Leyton used meditation to leverage the Sage characteristic within his body.
This time, he leveraged even more power, the power of an angel's Sequence.
Leyton felt the layered, blurry prayer in his ear suddenly become clear, and he also established a vague connection with The Sun Derrick.
Without delay, Leyton directly followed this connection, using the method of the Hidden Sage instilling knowledge into a Mystery Pryer, to transmit some information to The Sun Derrick in the City of Silver.
Then he severed the connection between himself and The Sun.
