After they returned to their hotel, Gelda said, "How are your wounds, Lord?"
Liebe said, "Well, somehow they aren't as bad since I healed them, and I feel better."
Alysa said, "After you almost gave us a heart attack!"
Liebe said, "You are the one who wanted to make sure he was ok with us being together. What else do you think I can do?"
Alysa said, "That's true."
Liebe said, "I will be waiting for you when you are ready to resume our relationship."
Alysa said, "Yeah, I will be there."
And then Gelda said, "It's 10 AM. I should get Eldrie."
After Eldrie came out of Gelda's portal, Liebe, Alysa, and Gelda were sitting in the living room as Eldrie was grinning.
Liebe said, "Mind explaining that grin?"
Eldrie said, "Sorry, Lord. What now?"
Gelda said, "It sure seems like you had a good time, Eldrie."
Liebe said, "Unfortunately, Lord, I do not understand."
Gelda said, "You are being judged for your crime."
Eldrie said, "Which one? Mass murder? Terrorism? Tax evasion? Sleeping during duty? Being racist towards corrupt nobles?"
Gelda said, "For the crime of being in a relationship and not telling us."
Eldrie said, "Sorry, Lord."
Liebe said, "We can see your teeth a bit too much, you grinning perv."
Eldrie said, "Sorry, Lord, but it's nothing like that."
Alysa said, "So when are we getting to meet Mrs. Eldrie?"
Eldrie said, "Ummm, I don't know, Lord."
Liebe said, "It sure seems you had quite the stamina training."
Eldrie said, "It's not that deep yet, Lord."
Liebe said, "Are you sure? Because to me it seems deeper. Try looking at the lipstick on your neck. I must say that tells quite a different story."
Eldrie just turned red from embarrassment.
Liebe said, "Either way, it's good to see you found someone proud of you. But of course, as a Black Rose tradition, we will grill you on till the day you—"
Gelda said, "Lady Lilith has already been informed. Good luck making it out of this without dying from embarrassment."
Liebe said, "And your punishment for your crimes is to introduce her to us."
Gelda said, "Seems fitting enough."
Alysa said, "I must agree then."
As Gelda's communicator rang, Gelda picked up, stated, "Ok, understood," and then cut the call. Gelda said, "Lord, it's Mr. Geno. He has requested your presence."
Liebe said, "Ok."
Alysa said, "But Liebe, you should get some sleep since you trained all day yesterday and fought all night long."
Liebe said, "It's fine. Let's do that after I return."
As he went to the Knight of One's office, he knocked on the door.
Geno said, "Come in."
Liebe entered. Geno stated, "Sit down."
Liebe said, "You asked for me, sir?"
Geno said, "Yes, I did. Do you know why I hate you Fausts?"
Liebe said, "I do not follow, sir."
Geno said, "Because wherever you go, you create more trouble for me. Look at that pile of paperwork. Do you know why it's there?"
Liebe said, "I'm afraid not, sir."
Geno said, "Because last night you went into the Abyssal Zone and killed a Skelos that another party has already claimed as their own. And on top of that, those friends of yours, the Vaude and Grinberryal, they went ahead and killed two more Skelos bosses on their own without permission."
Liebe said, "Damn, they did that?"
Geno said, "Yes. Do you know why we allow people to buy the rights to a boss?"
Liebe said, "So that you can earn extra money, and the knights strong enough can earn a lot more from the drops if they win."
Geno said, "Yes. And because of you, I have to clean this paperwork. What did I do to deserve this? If you want my seat as one of the 25 Princes of Hell, just take it. After how much trouble you caused me in the last five generations till now, the damages cost more than nine trillion gold coins."
Liebe said, "Makes sense. It was done over the course of five generations."
Geno said, "That is besides the point! Why are you doing this to me? Just let me die in peace! But of course, I can't do that. At least let me just survive."
Liebe said, "But you are an immortal, so why not use it and babysit us for a bit more?"
Geno said, "Why else do you think Lilith and Domr were so strong? They literally begged to be trained till I started to cry and beg them, 'Please, stop!'"
Liebe said, "I understand."
Geno said, "I'm sorry, what do you understand?"
Liebe said, "Simply the fact that if I need to grow stronger, I need to do the same."
Geno said, "You Fausts really are a different breed."
Liebe said, "Thank you."
Geno said, "That was not a goddamn compliment."
Liebe said, "Ok."
Geno said, "Now about the second reason why I called you here: what is it, a boy or a girl?"
Liebe said, "I'm sorry, what now?"
Geno said, "About Astreous. Is his child a boy or a girl?"
Liebe said, "It's a boy. His name is Astreous."
Geno said, "So that's why he missed the meeting."
Liebe said, "Yes, sir."
Geno said, "Ok. Can you give him a gift for me?"
Liebe said, "Sure."
Geno said, "Take these weapons. These are what Astreous needs more than anything."
Liebe said, "Umm, weapons for a child doesn't seem to fit right."
After Geno threw a box, it was an extra-large pack of deluxe diapers.
Liebe said, "Umm, sir, what are these for?"
Geno said, "Weapons for Astreous's war for the next few years."
Liebe said, "Why are you calling them weapons?"
Geno said, "Simply because childcare is worse than a war in a way. If you are strong enough, you can end a war in a day, but childcare is not. And trust me, Astreous will need these. And here are all of them—a lifetime supply. And of course, when you were born, we did the same, except I sent Vanessa since, well, you know, with Domr and Lilith there, they would never have let me go and trained till the day you die. So that's why I didn't go."
Liebe said, "That's a bit rude."
Geno said, "Trust me, those are facts. Just unfortunate. Once those two together have a training drive, it's far beyond what I can say."
Liebe said, "I'm sorry I asked."
Geno said, "It's ok, it's ok."
As Liebe took his leave and after returning to his hotel room, he finally got some well-needed rest. After seven hours of sleeping, he finally woke up.
