(Later in the night, everyone is already fast asleep.)
(However, Pikachu and Eevee aren't.)
(They can't seem to sleep.)
(They both get up and head into the greenhouse, and sneak through the door.)
(Pikachu and Eevee stop at the pedestal at the center of the room.)
(Pikachu calls out.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (Chikorita!)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee." (Chikorita, we need to talk to you!)
(Eevee calls out.)
(The Pokeball begins to shake before Chikorita emerges.)
(Chikorita notices an open door and rushes out, unaware that Pikachu and Eevee begin following after her or the security camera have captured everything.)
(Pikachu calls out.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (Hold up!)
Chikorita: "Chiko" (Go away.)
(Chikorita refuses.)
(Pikachu calls out.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika Pikachu." (We didn't mean to make you jealous.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee. Eevee Eevee Vee," (Come back with us. We have to get back to the Pokemon Center.)
(However, Chikorita launches a Razor Leaf at them, and allows herself to escape into the tall grass.)
(Pikachu and Eevee follow.)
Pikachu: "Pika! Pika! Pikachu! (Come back! Come out! Stop hiding!)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee! Eevee Vee Eevee!" (Please come back! Mew will be very worried!)
(Chikorita manages to sneak off long enough for Pikachu and Eevee to walk past her.)
(She then escapes to a large, empty warehouse.)
(Upon arriving, Chikorita dusts off one of the boxes and uses it as a place to sleep.)
(Later in the night, Chikorita continues to sleep.)
(Unaware that three Pokemon are standing over her She wakes up to see.)
(a Hitmonchan, a Machoke, and a Hitmonlee.)
(Then hear a loud.)
Primeape: "PRIMMMME! PRIME-APE!"
(Chikorita looks up to see a Primeape standing on a few crates.)
(However, Chikorita yawns and goes back to sleep without a care.)
(Primeape then throws what seems like a bolt at her.)
(Chikorita quickly retaliates as Primeape leaps down towards her with a Vine Whip.)
(Soon, both Pokemon land on the ground.)
(In seconds, Primeape falls and is knocked out, surprising the other Pokemon.)
(Chikorita turns to see the three Pokemon staring at her.)
(Chikorita calls out, ready to fight.)
Chikorita: "Chiko Chiko?" (You want some?)
(The Pokemon stare at each other, ready to fight, but the three fighting types bow to Chikorita, recognizing her as strongest.)
(Chikorita smiles and says.)
Chikorita: "Chiko. Chiko Chiko." (Well, now. That's more like it.)
(The next day, realizing that Pikachu, Eevee, and Chikorita are missing, they watch the surveillance tape to see Chikorita has escaped, and Pikachu and Eevee follow from close behind.)
Nurse Joy: "Yep, this is a text-book case."
(Nurse Joy says.)
Mew: "Case of what?"
(Mew asks.)
Nurse Joy: "That Chikorita craves your attention and an excellent way to get it is by running away."
(Nurse Joy says.)
Tomo: "But why'd Pikachu and Eevee go too?"
(Tomo asks.)
(Then Misty answers.)
Misty: "I bet Pikachu and Eevee followed Chikorita to try and get her to come back."
Mew: "You're right, Pikachu and Eevee might blame themselves for this, I gotta get out there and look for them!"
(Mew says.)
Nurse Joy: "I think you'd better hurry, Mew."
(Nurse Joy says.)
Jen: "How come?"
(Jen asks.)
(Nurse Joy explains.)
Nurse Joy: "This is a pretty tough neighborhood, and it's got some pretty rough Pokemon!"
Brock: "You mean Pikachu, Eevee, and Chikorita might get attacked?!"
(Brock asks, shocked.)
Misty: "That's awful!"
(Misty says.)
Mew: "We gotta go find them."
(Mew says.)
(With that, everyone begins to search for the three missing Pokemon as they call out their names.)
(Sadly, no one seems to answer.)
Jen: "I hope they're alright."
(Jen says.)
Brock: "If we don't find them soon, they could get into big trouble."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "We've gotta have a plan! This place is way too big, we're never going to find them if we just run around like this."
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "But how?"
(Tomo asks.)
(Everyone begins to think of an idea.)
(Soon, Brock has the answer.)
Brock: "I know! Bulbasaur is a grass Pokemon just like Chikorita, so he should be able to sniff out Chikorita's scent! And if he can find Chikorita, we're bound to find Pikachu and Eevee. Too!"
Mew: "Let's try."
(Mew says, and throws her Pokeball to call out.)
Mew: "Bulbasaur, I choose you!"
(Bulbasaur comes out of the Pokeball.)
(Mew kneels to Bulbasaur and says.)
Mew: "Bulbasaur, we need you to try and sniff out Chikorita! If you can pick up her scent, maybe we can find her!"
Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur!" (On it, Mew!)
(Bulbasaur answers.)
(Bulbasaur begins to sniff around.)
(Soon, Bulbasaur finds the scent.)
Bulbasaur: "Bulba! Bulbasaur!"(Gotcha! Follow me!)
(Bulbasaur soon begins to track down the scent with Mew and the others close behind.)
(Jessie says.)
Jessie: "If I were you I'd prepare for trouble!"
James: "You're sounding even scarier, Jessie!"
(James says.)
(Jessie giggles happily.)
Jessie: "Oh, thank you, James. I've been working on my evil inflections lately!"
James: "This is it, Jessie!"
(James says.)
James: "The twerp said that Pikachu, Eevee and Chikorita have run off together, this is our chance to grab all three of them and bring them back to the Boss!"
Jessie: "And now all we have to do is get to them before the twerps do!"
(Jessie says.)
(James brings out a radio.)
James: "Ahhh, James to Meowth, do you read me, Meowth, over? How's the view from up there today?"
Meowth: "Purr-fectly clear, Jimbo,"
(Meowth says, over the radio.)
(Up above, Meowth hovers by in the Meowth Balloon.)
James: "We just heard the twerp's Pikachu, Eevee, and Chikorita are on the loose. Try to spot them."
(James says over the radio.)
Meowth: "Roger-wilco."
(Meowth answers, and brings out binoculars to survey the scene.)
(Soon, Meowth spots something.)
Meowth: "Whadda we have here?"
(Meowth spots the abandoned warehouse, and spots something moving smoothly through the long grass.)
(Meowth has the binoculars zoom in and see Pikachu and Eevee.)
Meowth: "It's our old friend, Pikachu and Eevee!"
(Meowth says.)
(On the ground floor, Pikachu spots the warehouse.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (She's here!)
(Pikachu says.)
(Then Eevee says.)
Eevee: "Eev Eevee," (Let's check.)
(Pikachu and Eevee enter the warehouse.)
(Pikachu calls out.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika! Pika! Pika Pika! (Chikorita! Come out! Chikorita!)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee! Eevee!" (Where are you?! Chikorita!)
