(Soon, they see their secret weapon, which is a Mecha robot with a net.)
Meowth: "What are we gonna call that, Jessie?"
(Meowth asks.)
Jessie: "Uuh, we'll probably call it a gigantic mistake."
(Jessie answers.)
(James sheepishly says.)
James: "It looked a lot better online!"
(Just then, Meowth notices something.)
Meowth: "Hey guys, look!"
Jessie and James: "What is it?"
(Jessie and James and James asks.)
Meowth: "Seems that the twerpette and Charizard are still talking."
(Meowth says.)
(Then Mew asks.)
Mew: "Charizard, why do you want to become strong? If you mind me asking?"
Charizard: "Char Char." (Because, I want to become stronger than I was. I want to do better than I was, especially from back then.)
(Charizard answers with a growl.)
Mew: "I remember."
(Mew says.)
(Charizard remembers back when it's still a Charmander, back when his previous trainer abandoned him.)
(Charmander has been told he's weak, and remembers how he has stayed in the rain for the longest time.)
(That is until Mew and the others walk by to save him.)
(And officially became her Pokemon.)
(Over time, Charmander has gotten stronger and evolved to Charmeleon.)
(And then into Charizard to save Mew from Aerodactyl.)
(And the time when Charizard Mega Evolved to Mega Charizard.)
Mew: "I remember how uneasy you were, but now, you've become strong. And I understand, you wish to become stronger."
(Mew says.)
(Charizard nods in reply.)
(Charizard then flies down to the water and stays there.)
(Mew is shocked because Charizard is a Fire type and doesn't take kindly to water.)
(Mew wonders if Charizard is either training, or is cooling off so he can think.)
(Team Rocket feels tear-fill sympathy for Charizard.)
(James cries.)
James: "Poor thing! I understand! I understand your pain!"
Jessie: "Do you James?"
(Jessie asks.)
James: "I can imagine how it feels to have big dreams!"
(James says.)
Meowth: "You and Jess don't have to imagine."
(Meowth says.)
(Then Jessie and James begin pummeling Meowth for his comments.)
(Later in the night, Mew and the others stay with Charizard as he's been sitting in the water and thinking about his decision.)
Misty: "I can't believe it. Charizard's been there ever since this afternoon."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "Well, Charizard did plan on doing a lot of thinking and hasn't moved a muscle from the water."
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "Sounds like Charizard is really thinking hard about it."
(Tomo says.)
Jen: "Yeah."
(Jen says.)
(Mew then watches her Charizard as she sees the determination in his eyes.)
Mew: "Oh Charizard, you really want to train her, don't you. I know how strong you are, but I know that you... You want to be stronger. Isn't that right?"
(Mew says.)
(Charizard lets out a growl and says that he wants to train her, but also doesn't want to leave her.)
Mew: "I understand."
(Mew says.)
(She then says.)
Mew: "And I know it will be hard after everything we went through. But Charizard, I want this to be your choice. I want you to decide what you want for yourself."
(Meanwhile, Team Rocket continues to watch Charizard.)
James: "I don't know what's going on down there, but whatever it is, it's intense."
(James says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "I sure wish we could understand what that Charizard's muttering to itself."
Meowth: "I, understand! I can tell you! It's saying "I want to be stronger. I wants ta be da best I can be!" 'But I also want to be with you. We went through so much together. I want to be strong. I want you to be proud.'
(Meowth says.)
(Soon he is in tears.)
Meowth: "Charizard, I useta feel, da same as you! I still do!"
Jessie: "We're on your side!"
(Jessie says.)
James: "Yeah, we're rooting for you!"
(James says.)
Meowth: "Even though you're not a loser, us dreamers gotta stick togetta!"
(Meowth says.)
(And soon, Team Rocket are in tears.)
(Meanwhile, Mew fights to stay away while everyone else is already fast asleep.)
Mew: "Hang in there."
(Mew says.)
(Charizard continues to fight to stay away, but all the while, his tail flame is getting lower, until a pebble falling forces him to awake and keep his flame going.)
(It's revealed that Team Rocket is throwing the rocks to keep him away.)
(Team Rocket also whispers to get Charizard to not fall asleep and keep awake.)
(Meanwhile, Peeking out of the gates of the valley are Leeza and Charla.)
(They witness how determined Mew's Charizard is.)
Leeza: "It's got a lot of heart, Charla."
(Leeza says.)
(Charla nods.)
(Soon comes the dawn, Mew is the first to wake to see Charizard is still in the same spot all night.)
Mew: "You made it through the night."
(Mew says.)
(She then looks to see Charizard's tail flame.)
Mew: "If Charizard wants to get stronger that badly, it would be wrong to stand in its way. That also means to accept Charizard's decision."
(Suddenly, another one of Team Rocket's mecha machines begins to roll towards the valley.)
(Jessie calls out.)
Jessie: "Rise and shine! Rise and shine!"
James: "We helped Charizard make it through the night."
(James says.)
Meowth: "Now we'll make it stand up and fight!"
(Meowth says.)
(Then Jessie says.)
Jessie: "Charizard's determination to succeed is an example for us all!"
James: "The least we can do is help a fellow dreamer!"
(James says.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Yeah, but we're gonna act like we ain't helping him!"
Jessie: "What the twerps don't know won't hurt them."
(Jessie says.)
James: "Now let's put robot boy to work!"
(James says.)
(Soon, the mecha robot arrives in front of the gates of the valley, catching everyone's attention.)
Everyone: "What's that?"
(Everyone asks.)
Meowth: "Here goes!"
(Meowth says from in the robot.)
(The mecha begins to ram into the iron gates of Charicific Valley repeatedly.)
Jessie: "We've got, to get, Charizard, moving!"
(Jessie says.)
(Seeing the trouble, Charizard soon takes off from where it stands and zooms to the mecha.)
James: "Just as we predicted, Jess!"
(James says.)
Jessie: "Charizard should be landing any second now!"
(Jessie says.)
(And right on cue, Charizard lands in front of the robot.)
James: "It's behaving just as we thought it would."
(James says.)
(Then Jessie says.)
Jessie: "It's trying to protect its fellow Charizard."
(Just then, Charizard launches a powerful Flamethrower that heats up the robot until it shows signs of overheating.)
(Jessie says with a smile.)
Jessie: "It's gonna destroy us."
Meowth: "Isn't that great?"
(Meowth says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "You have to admire that Charizard."
Meowth: "It's scrappy, just like us."
(Meowth happily says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "I hope you reach your goal, Charizard."
(Then Jessie adds.)
Jessie: "Your friend should be impressed, because..."
Team Rocket: "We're blasting off again!"
(Team Rocket says.)
(Soon enough, the mecha explodes, and sends Team Rocket blasting off again.)
(Soon, Mew and the others rush over to congratulate Charizard.)
Mew: "You did it, Charizard!"
(Mew happily says, and hugs Charizard.)
(Even Eevee and Pikachu are happy.)
(Suddenly, they hear clapping as the gates to the valley opens, revealing that it's Leeza applauding Charizard's heroic efforts with all the Charizards in the valley.)
(All the Charizard roar for Mew's Charizard's bravery.)
(Mew turns to Charizard and says.)
Mew: "It looks like all the Charizard are cheering for you."
(Charizard smiles in reply.)
Leeza: "I agree. I mean. Sure anyone can beat those three, but your Charizard also proved that it wants to be great. And that is enough to show that he's allowed to train here."
(Leeza says.)
(Then turns to Charla.)
Leeza: "Don't you agree?"
(Charla agrees with a mighty roar, as do the other Charizard.)
(Mew turns to Charizard and asks.)
Mew: "Charizard, do you want to stay in the valley and train with the other Charizard."
(Then Mew gently rubs Charizard's cheek.)
Mew: "I know you want to become stronger, and I know you'll do great. My friends and I will be alright, but I also want you to be happy."
(Charizard then nods his head.)
(Then Mew and Charizard give each other a hug, as a sign of goodbye.)
(Mew soon begins to shed tears.)
Mew: "I'll... I'll miss you... so much."
(Charizard even begins to shed tears.)
(He'll miss Mew, because after what they went through.)
(Soon, the two parted their hugs and looked at each other.)
(Mew wipes the tears from her face and says.)
Mew: "You got a lot of things to learn in the valley, and I wish you the best of luck."
(Mew soon turns to see Leeza and the other Charizard.)
Mew: "They're waiting for you."
(Charizard growls in concern.)
Mew: "I hope that we'll see each other again, someday."
(Mew says.)
(Charizard nods in reply.)
(Soon, the others say their goodbyes to Charizard.)
(After that, Mew and the others begin to leave Charicific Valley as they bid their last goodbye to a dear friend.)
(Mew says in her thoughts.)
Mew [in mind]: "Train hard, Charizard, we'll meet again someday. Goodbye, old friend! Don't forget me!"
(as a final tear falls from her face.)
(Charizard then lets out a mighty Flamethrower into the sky as a sign of saying his last goodbye.)
