(Suddenly, the egg begins to glow and shows signs of hatching.)
Mew: "Looks like it's hatching already."
(Mew says.)
(Soon, the little Pokemon Egg begins shaking and soon glows bright as it cracks.)
(And with a small burst, the egg has) hatched into a Charmander.
Charmander: "Char Char."
(Charmander happily says.)
Misty: "Aw, it's a little Charmander."
(Misty says.)
Jen: "It's so cute."
(Jen says.)
Charmander: "Char Char."
(Little Charmander says and turns to Tomo.)
(Then happily snuggles Tomo.)
Charmander: "Char Char."
Jen: "I think little Charmander likes you."
(Jen says.)
Tomo: "Maybe, but I can't take the little guy. He lives here."
(Tomo says.)
(Leeza kneels to Tomo.)
Leeza: "I don't mind. Besides, little Pokemon do imprint on the first they think they see, and it appears it thinks of you as its caregiver."
Tomo: "So you really don't mind?"
(Tomo asks.)
Leeza: "I don't mind."
(Leeza says.)
Tomo: "Thanks Leeza."
(Tomo says.)
(Then looks at the little Charmander.)
Tomo: "I think I'm going to call you, Blaze."
Blaze: "Char Char."
(Little Charmander, Blaze says.)
Mew: "Seems that the little Charmander likes it."
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "Yeah. She really likes it."
(Tomo says.)
(Sometime later, Mew and the others are in Leeza home as Tomo tends to his new baby Charmander and having some lunch.)
(Mew looks out the window to see her Charizard and Charla are hanging around at the valley with the other wild Charizards, relaxing, eating, and even training among themselves.)
(Mew turns to the others and says.)
Mew: "You know, it's nice for Charizard to be around other Charizards. It's really nice."
Misty: "Yeah. Charizard seems happy here."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "It's really a paradise for Charizards."
(Brock says.)
(Mew says.)
Mew: "Yeah."
(Then look at Charizard again.)
Misty: "What is it, Mew?"
(Misty asks.)
Mew: "Oh, sorry, I guess I'm just thinking about when I first caught Charmander. Neither thought I say that after the troubling way we met."
(Mew says.)
Leeza: "Why's that?"
(Leeza asks.)
Mew: "Well, it's hard to explain, but I'll try to make it brief."
(Mew says.)
(Leeza nods her head in reply.)
Mew: "It happened sometime I started on my journey, and along the way we met Charmander. We met Charmander on a rock and were waiting for his trainer. Even during a storm sometime later. My friends and I were at the center when we heard what really happened to Charmander. Turns out, Charmander was abandoned."
(Mew explains.)
Jen: "What do you mean, abandoned?"
(Jen asks.)
Mew: "Charmander's previous trainer said it will be back, so Charmander waited at the rock for him, but his previous trainer never had any intentions to get Charmander at all. My friends and I went out in the rain and rescued Charmander and got him to the center. Charmander was terribly weak, and it's good that he survived."
(Mew explains.)
(Misty smiles and says.)
Misty: "And the next day, Charmander was sleeping with Mew and grown attached to her."
Leeza: "And then you decide to make Charmander your Pokemon?"
(Leeza asks.)
Mew: "Not right away, because Charmander was still loyal to his precious trainer so he was conflicted. Sometime later, after having some trouble, his original trainer came by and saw that he learned a powerful move. However, despite the previous trainer saying that he came back for him, Charmander refused to come back to a selfish trainer. And Charmander decided to be with us, especially me."
(Mew says.)
Brock. "And in the process, it turns out that Charmander wasn't the only one who was treated badly by the other trainer. So as a result, we end up adopting his previous Pokemon. A few who were afraid to battle lived with Misty at the gym her sister runs."
(Brock says.)
(Leeza smiles.)
Leeza: "I'm glad to hear that Charizard and the other Pokemon end up with good trainers. Some trainers just don't deserve to have Pokemon if they're not going to treat them well."
Mew: "I totally agree."
(Mew says.)
(Misty giggles.)
Misty: "Mew was so mad at Damian for what he did, she almost punched him in the face. Kind of makes me wish she did."
Jen: "Yeah."
(Jen says.)
Tomo: "I think he deserves it."
(Tomo says.)
Leeza: "I may advise for againsting violence, but it's nice to know it with a good trainer."
(Leeza says.)
Misty: "Speaking of, what is Charizard up to?"
(Misty asks, and looks out the window.)
(Mew and the others look to see Charizard seems to be training with one of the other Charizards in the valley.)
Brock: "I guess Charizard wanted to get some training."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "I hope he doesn't overwork himself. I know he wants to be strong, but he can get a little carried away."
(Mew says.)
(Just then, the wild Charizard flips Mew's Charizard over and he falls to the ground.)
(However, Mew's Charizard gets up and swings his tail at the other.)
(The other Charizard punches Mew's in the stomach, but Mew's Charizard punches it in the face.)
(Then the two headbutt each other and use their strength and skill to fight.)
Leeza: "Gotta admit, your Charizard is strong."
(Leeza says.)
Mew: "Yeah."
(Mew says with a nod.)
(Sometime later, Mew is tending to her Charizard's wound.)
(It's proven that the Charizard in the valley is very strong, and he has to respect that.)
(Of course, being defeated is a bit difficult.)
Mew: "You feeling okay, Charizard?"
(Mew asks.)
(Charizard nods in reply.)
Mew: "You really did good over there, but I guess the Charizards here are strong."
(Mew says.)
(Charizard growls to answer.)
Charizard: "Char Char." (I know. It makes me want to train harder.)
Mew: "Charizard, do you want to stay here, in the valley? Leeza says that she's impressed by you that you can train here if you like."
(Mew asks.)
(Charizard answers with a growl.)
Charizard: "Char Char." (I actually want to. I want to become strong, but... it will also mean leaving you and the others...)
Mew: "I know."
(Mew says.)
(Meanwhile, Team Rocket has seen what happened and is surprised.)
Jessie: "See that?"
(Jessie asks, shocked.)
(Then James says.)
James: "I did!"
Meowth: "I saw it too!"
(Meowth says, shocked.)
(Then Jessie asks.)
Jessie: "What are the chances of us stealing the Charizard that just beat the Charizard that always beats us?"
Meowth: "Not very good!"
(Meowth says.)
(Then James says.)
James: "What are the chances of stealing a bunch of even tougher ones?"
Meowth: "Very, very bad!"
(Meowth says.)
(Jessie stands up and says.)
Jessie: "Imf! Then let's improve our chances and try our new secret weapon!"
