Chapter 6 - Chapter Six:The Return of the Council

POV: Elara Virelle (1st person)

---

> "The stars do not remember kindness.

Only power.

That's why we must love louder than fear."

— Elara Virelle

---

[Scene: Council Echo Chambers – Lunaris Underground]

I never thought I'd return to the room where my heart was torn apart.

The Council Echo Chambers were buried beneath Lunaris Prime, a circle of crystalline thrones once belonging to the highest Lunar Elders.

This was where they cursed us.

This was where I died — in spirit.

But today, I stepped through those cold doors not as a girl from Earth… but as a Queen returned from silence.

Kael beside me. Auren in my arms. The prophecy fully awakened.

And the Council?

They were already waiting.

---

[Scene: The Elder Confrontation]

There were six remaining Elders — aged, polished, immortal.

Their eyes glowed with judgment and power.

At the center sat Elder Virellian, my father's former advisor. He had voted to sever my bond with Kael.

"Elara," he said coldly. "You bring a child into our chamber. And a traitor."

"I bring the future," I replied, standing tall. "And a king."

Auren blinked at them, calm despite the tension. His presence made the walls pulse — the energy recognizing his bloodline.

Kael stepped forward. "We are here for restoration. Not revenge."

Elder Nythra scoffed. "The bond you share defies cosmic law. That child should not exist."

"He exists because we defied you," I said.

---

[Scene: Magic Tribunal Awakens]

As tradition demanded, they called for a Trial of Truth — a test that would weigh our souls and prove if our love and claim were bound by destiny… or deception.

The chamber floor split into a glowing lunar seal.

Kael and I stepped into the circle, hands clasped.

Auren watched, eyes wide, but silent.

Suddenly, the moons above aligned — casting a beam of silver and black light into the seal.

It pierced us both.

> Memories.

Pain.

The kiss before our exile.

The blood.

The curse.

The child…

It all played out in the air, a swirling tapestry of time and emotion.

The chamber gasped.

Even Elder Virellian stood frozen.

"It's true," one of them whispered. "They were torn apart. Not by fate… but by us."

---

[Scene: The Vote of Redemption]

The council fell silent.

And then — one by one — they stood.

"We will not undo the prophecy," Virellian said. "But we must control it."

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"You, Elara, are the bridge. And Kael, the fallen star. But the child…" He paused. "The child could destroy both realms if unbalanced."

"He's a boy," Kael said, furious. "Not a weapon."

"Then teach him not to become one," Elder Nythra added. "Because across the Veil… the Earthbound Court has felt his awakening."

---

[Scene: Earthbound Council Interference]

At that moment, the chamber trembled.

A ripple echoed through the walls — the unmistakable frequency of Earthbound energy.

A portal burst open behind the thrones.

Figures cloaked in midnight armor appeared — Earthbound Emissaries. Eyes glowing with shifting colors, skin etched with planetary sigils.

And their leader?

My cousin.

Laziel Ardyn.

"Elara," he said smoothly, stepping into the light. "I told you to stay dead."

---

[Scene: Clash of Councils – Verbal War]

Kael's sword appeared instantly.

The Lunar guards drew arms.

The Earthbound emissaries smiled — calm, assured.

Laziel raised a hand. "We are not here for war. Yet."

"Then why are you here?" I snapped.

He looked down at Auren, tilting his head. "Because he changes everything. That child threatens the balance between both kingdoms. And as a member of your bloodline, I demand audience."

"You have no authority here," Virellian growled.

"But the Earthbound king will demand reparation. That boy binds two realms. And you've let him live."

Auren, ever still, looked up at Laziel and said:

"I didn't ask to be born. But now that I am… I'll decide what gets destroyed."

---

[Scene: Council's Verdict]

The Lunar Elders, shaken by Auren's words, moved to close the session.

"We grant you temporary return of rights," Virellian declared. "You are Queen once more, Elara. Prince, your title is restored. The child… is under your oath."

"And what of Seris?" I asked.

"She's vanished," Kael answered quietly. "After the boy awakened."

Laziel smirked. "Perhaps she's not your biggest threat anymore."

---

[Scene: Final Scene – The Midnight Pact]

That night, Kael and I stood on the observatory, overlooking the sleeping kingdom.

Auren slept between glowing starlilies, watched by lunar spirits.

Kael exhaled. "They'll never stop coming, will they?"

"No," I replied. "Because they fear what they cannot control."

He looked at me. "And us?"

"They can't control love," I said. "And we have too much of it to break again."

He kissed my temple.

"I'm with you, Elara."

"Then let's teach our son how to rule the stars."
