'Well, I have many things I want to ask, but I think we should find the Goblin Village first to make sure there isn't any Goblin War Chief in it. Don't you think, Jacob?' John asked me, making me nod. 'I want to go with you.' I said, making him smile as he spoke. 'I planned for you to come anyway, after all, I want to get to know more about you and those things next to you. Are they called Utahraptors by any chance?' He asked, and I nodded, making his eyes light up. 'I see, wonderful. They have wind elemental magic and lightning elemental magic. I have never seen animals like them.' He said, walking around, Adam eyeing him as I calmed down, Adam mentally told himself that he meant no harm and just wanted to look at him.
'Sir John!' The village guard captain slowly made his way around the raptors towards us, making sure to take the long way as he didn't know if they were friendly. 'Sir Timothy, I was just talking to these little ones that we should send out a search party for the Goblin Village to make sure there aren't any unforeseen problems in the future. Jacob has said he will lead the way; he was the first to notice the goblins before they even attacked.' He said, making me sigh, that he was watching long before he stepped in, meaning there isn't a point in hiding anything from him. The older one is the wiser they are, and would know I am lying, plus there isn't a point in lying.
'Isn't he a little young to be joining a hunt?' Said a teenage boy with contempt as John chuckled. 'I don't know, could you handle about two hundred goblins and a mage hobgoblin at your age?' He said backing me up, which made this teenage boy click his tongue. 'Why don't you lead the way, Jacob?' John said with a smile, and I nodded. I whistled, and my Utahraptors circled me, scaring the two men, not so much John as he smiled and nodded.
I spoke out so they could hear me. 'Adam and Eve, smell these goblins and try to find their scent in the forest.' I said before mounting Samantha as I looked at the other Utahraptors, and John nodded as he started to float in the air. Making me kind of jealous of him. 'Sir Timothy, we will go ahead. I will report back to you if we need your help. But I have a feeling you won't be needed, make sure the village is safe.' John said as we made our way into the forest at a quick speed, as Eve picked up their scent first, and we raced in that direction.
'So, Jacob, are you someone who was reborn?' John asked, making me stop. 'I take that as a yes, so no wonder you were able to kill those people following us on the day you were born.' He said, nodding his head, making me sigh as we started moving. 'Tell me about my father and the Queen who wants me dead.' I said, making him chuckle. 'Your father had a hard time getting a male child, so he had taken a lot of women other than the Queen, but the moment she gave birth to a male, she didn't let any other male be born, as it would put her child at risk.' He said. 'Your father was in his late 60s when he met your mother, who started to work as a maid for his palace, and he was sexually attracted to her, leading to your birth.' He finished saying.
So nothing too strange, the Queen is only ruthless because royalty tends to be cruel. I don't hate her for it, after all, my father wanted a male heir and fell into lustful ways. 'Well, she shouldn't be able to find me anytime soon, by the time she does find me, I will have the means to protect myself. As long as someone doesn't let it slip out that I have abilities that are not of this world.' I said, looking at him, making him roll his eyes. 'I am a lifelong friend of your fathers, I promised him I would look after you. I will keep that promise.' He said with a straight face, making me nod as Eve stopped about two miles ahead of us, and we started to slow down. I could see through her eyes thanks to the pack hunter skill.
'There are about five hundred goblins and one with a giant axe, I see three other mage hobgoblins near him.' I said, which shocked John. 'You can see them?' He asked as I nodded my head. 'Let's go this way, the village is built next to a big lake. We can get in through the water.' I said, while dismounting, Samantha. 'You all join up with Adam and Eve, I will signal you attacking the village when the time is right.' I said to the other Utahraptors as they ran off, and John and I made our way around the lake. 'Why did we come here?' He asked, making me smirk as I lifted both my hands, and six circles shone under the water, and he noticed six big animals under it wearing leather and metal armor, making him laugh. 'You surprise me every time.'
'Do you have magic to make yourself a cloaked or something like that?' I asked as he nodded, and I walked into the water using Jill's water nature as I grabbed hold of her sail that was sticking out of the water. I could see it, but not him; he started to cover himself in a mist, making himself look transparent. If it were for my raptor eyes, I don't think I would notice him. Jill was the only Spino swimming near the top of the water, as the others were under it. The lake was five miles wide, so we moved at a steady pace until we got closer. 'Jill, stop.' I commanded that she and the Spinos stop moving, and I sent a message to the Utahraptors to attack as the gates were open and goblins were outside the village.
The Utahraptors had gotten so close to the village unnoticed, they were about fifty meters away from the gate as they rushed out of the forest clearing, and that distance was within a few seconds before the goblins could start to close the gate. Adam and Eve killed four Goblins each before making it through the gate as a horn sounded out. Goblins started to move at that moment. I told the male Spinos to begin their attack as they moved out of the water, donning their metal element magic and slamming into a few goblin homes, crashing, the goblins running out as I took the female Spinos to the left side of the village where the lake met the village as the males attacked the right.
The massive male Spinos crushed goblins under their feet as I waited for the mage hobgoblins to show up to try and handle them. Two finally showed themselves as I pulled out my bow and took two arrows, focusing on the wind nature and lightning nature as I aimed at their head. The moment they dodged a Spinos attack, I let loose the arrows, hitting their heads, killing them the moment they landed.
'Jill Attack!' I yelled as she rose from the water and undid her water element, killing ten goblins in a strike, as did the other females. John watched on in wonder as over half the goblins had been destroyed in less than five minutes. He was in wonder of Jacob's skill and ability as he smiled. 'I guess I will kill the Goblin War Chief and let Jacob handle the rest.' He said, moving towards the tent as the massive goblin walked out with his axe, and John landed in front of him. 'I will be your opponent.' He said, waving a hand as ice spears shoot out of magic circles.
The Goblin War Chief blocked it with his axe as the hits pushed him back. I watched John from my seat on Jill as I fired another round of arrows at the last mage, hitting him in his body, as Jack stepped on him, killing him. I noticed it was getting easier to use the elemental natures as my Dinos leveled along with me. I was already at twenty and wasn't leveling anymore, telling me that these monsters won't give me any more experience, or it's too little for me to notice it. My Utahraptors are now at level 25, and my Spinos are at level 15. The last goblin fell as John clapped his hands 'Great work, Jacob.' He said as I smirked. I could tell him fighting the Goblin War Chief wasn't a problem, and he was playing with it the whole time.
'John, I want you to teach me about this world and help me get my mother to let me hunt in the forest.' I said, looking at him as he looked me in the eye and nodded. 'I think it's about time you started studying, as you will be someone this world will know of, I can feel it.' He said, nodding.
We made our way back to the village after I unsummed the Spinos and most of my Utahraptors, other than the first six I had. We ran through the forest at a quick pace, making it back in only twenty minutes. As we exited the forest, the people were still dismantling the goblins as I tilted my head. Making John laugh, 'Don't worry, I will send people out to get the magic stones from the goblins in the village. You need to talk to your mother.' He said, tilting his head. My mother was looking for me with tears running down her face as I sighed and nodded.
