Author:yo author here I always wondered in monster Hunter what would happen if there was a symbiotic relationship between two monsters that had wouldn't normally interact it also shout out to Joseph_Benton_8359 for giving me the idea to create a similar yet cooler mechanic as for those of us who have seen or played wilds then you should know if something called monster clashing where your character will clash with certain monsters depending on what weapon have thus I've decided to create an unique mechanic for the glavenus only I like to call "weapon eating" the MC will get in a clash with an hunter if they have a slashing weapon or a weapon that has a shield if the hunter wins The clash they keep their weapon but if the MC wins The clash he will devour their weapon and add it to his tailblade.
Without further Ado let's get started.
As ajax had gone fasting after a whole day after devouring a whole deviljho life is great but something was bothering him territory he needed more space his monster instincts required him to have more space it was already the top predator in the area.

That left mitzutsune but it kept the gajiu population check from eating all the regular fish Ajax landed on his final and most prominent option yian-garuga but of course there were problems with that too as yian-garuga ate a lot of the mushrooms around keeping them from overtaking the forest.
And it also ate leftovers and carrion with an omnivore like yian-garuga the rotting meat would kill the plants and leaves therefore creating an forever perpetual stink that would drive off other wild life.
Ajax couldn't figure out what to do killing any of these monsters with cause problem until suddenly an panel appeared before him Ajax knew it was a system because if it was it would have appeared before him at his birth no it was a task slot if you completed a task he would obtain a reward.

Ajax:yian-garuga your lease on life is over. Yian-garuga looked in fear before hardening its face yian-garuga:I won't die without a fight. Ajax let out a hearty growl ajax:we shall see soon enough. Meanwhile patch and miko watched the two exchange roars and growls.
As Ajax ran forward yian-garuga slapped its wings shooting backwards while firing a fireball hitting ajax directly in the face doing minimal damage but that wasn't the point of the fireball it was a distraction as yian-garuga flew forward and slashed at Ajax face with its talons.
But yian-garuga didn't expect Ajax to ignore the pain and bit onto it's leg before pulling his head back and slamming yian-garuga into the ground yian-garuga I'm using Sonic sac created a hypersonic roar forcing ajax away and stunning him as yian-garuga got up spun around hitting Ajax with its tail spikes.
But due to his metallic skin the spike that absorbed the majority of the impact cracked yian-garuga flew away towards the forest trying to escape as ajax recovered from the stun he noticed purple droplets which he deduced must be the poison tripping from the broken Spike.
As he followed the trail of poison droplets to an large nest of vines naturally weaved together they're Ajax saw yian-garuga resting Ajax charged up a black fireball and shot it forward hitting yian-garuga directly in the back forcing it to fall out of the nest.
As yian-garuga got up confused it's seen Ajax as yian-garuga turned around to look at the black flames burning away at its small patches of fur yian-garuga became enraged and started flying in the air and started rapid fire shooting fireballs.
Ajax eyes harden as he ran forward casually tanking the fireballs as he was running forward he drugged his tail along the ground igniting it in black flames as yian-garuga charged up a gigantic fireball and threw it at Ajax he jumped into the air spun around and cut the fireball in half.
And just as he was falling he bit onto yian-garuga tail and drug it down with him slamming it directly into the ground as yian-garuga struggle to get up after falling from such a height ajax who has landed semi perfectly ran up with his steel Jaws wide open and clamp down.
On yian-garuga Neck cracking the protective scales around its throat before lifting his head in the air while yian-garuga struggled for freedom ajax thrusted his head forward slamming yian-garuga into the ground before dragging yian-garuga through the dirt hitting tree roots and Vines breaking the scales on its face.
Before slamming into the ground again this time while swinging his head back and forth to give yian-garuga an concussion from the constant shaking before spinning around and tossing yian-garuga and watching as it stumbled and crashed through rocks and tree roots.
Yian-garuga got up on the verge of death ready to die with Honor as it flew forward ajax tail was still on fire as they clashed passing one another yian-garuga head slid off as its body collapsed limp and lifeless meanwhile Miko and patch watched the entire event all the way up to the climax.
As ajax picked up yian-garuga body leaving it's head to rot as he returned to his nest throwing down his hard earned meal suddenly the task giver appeared T.G:you have completed your assignment you have been rewarded with 1x omnivore bait this item will allow you to bait any omnivore to an location of your choosing.
Immediately Ajax walked back to the yian-garuga nest and placed down the bait it was an medium sized pink blob mixed of insects mushrooms fruits and slightly spoiled meat as ajax left after placing down the bait he went back to his nest site and started eating the corpse of yian-garuga making sure to avoid the poisonous spikes and shake out it's intestines.
Meanwhile back at yian-garuga old nest an gypceros smelt the scent of the bait and followed it to the bait before eating it while checking around for predators it entered the unforested area of the moonlight plains seeing the marsh and duramboros made gypceros comfortable as it replaced yian-garuga old scent with its own becoming an new part of the ecosystem.
