Chapter 5. Vendor, vendor, vendor.
Rinna blushes at his words, a shy smile spreading across her face. "Cute and adorable, huh? You're laying it on thick, M."[1]
She playfully punches M arm, but there's a warmth in her eyes.
"But I like it. Keep talking to me like that and you might just make me fall in love with you all over again."
Rinna opens the front door and steps outside, pulling M along with her. "Now come on, let's go make some memories. I want to have so many stories to tell our kids someday."
Rinna starts walking down the sidewalk, her hand firmly clasped in M. "So, where to first, my dear husband?"
"Let me think Rinna." M tap his chin doing A thinking posture. "what about school?, should we?"
Rinna nods eagerly, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Your school, huh? I'd love to see it. Maybe we can even sneak a peek inside, see what mischief we can get into." Rinna winks at M playfully and starts leading him down the street.
"Tell me about your school days, M. Were you the class clown? The quiet nerd? The rebel without a cause?"
Rinna looks at him expectantly, her head tilted to the side. "I want to know everything about the boy I married. Every little detail that made you, you"
As both of them walk, she points out various landmarks and shops, her excitement growing with each step.
As M and Rinna walk together, Rinna suddenly points at something."Oh, look! There's the ice cream truck where we had our first date, and our first kiss."
Rinna squeezes M hand tighter, a soft smile on her face."This is so surreal, M. Walking through our past, reliving our history."
Rinna looks at him, her eyes shining with Affection. "I'm so glad I get to do this with you"
M: Me too
M Giggled a bit and Said. "Too many question, let me answer the school first, about how I was in school, let me think," M thought for a second. "Hmm, I think I was the class clown"
Rinna laughs, the sound ringing out in the air. "The class clown, huh? I can totally see that. You always did have a way of making people laugh, even when things were tough."
M pulled her hands and lead her in front of the ice cream truck. "This is where our first date and kiss happened right, quick question how was I like in the future?."
She looks at the ice cream truck. a wistful expression on her face. "Yeah, this is the place. I remember it like it was yesterday. You were so nervous, asking for an ice cream, accidentally pointing at Toothpaste flavor and forcing to eat it."
She smiles softly, her eyes distant with memories. "But when we kissed... wow. It was like the whole world stopped. Just you and me, lost in the moment." She blinks, coming back to the present, and looks at you curiously.
M:"So how was I like in the future?"
Rinna took M hands and hold it gently, caressing it. "You want to know how you were in the future? Well, you were... incredible. Strong, brave, kind. You were the rock that held our family together, the glue that kept us all sane."
She smiles, her eyes shining with pride. "You worked so hard, providing for us, sacrificing your own dreams to give us the best life possible. And you were always there for me, even when I pushed you away."
Her voice cracks slightly, emotion getting the better of her. "You were my partner, my best friend, my soulmate. And I... I took you for granted."
She looks down, tears threatening to spill over. "I'm sorry, M. I'm so sorry for everything." She takes a deep breath, composing herself.
M suddenly scoop her up, carrying her and leading her in a nearby bench. "ay, ay, ay. I'm just Asking don't worry, even if you did something wrong I forgive you."
Rinna leans into M embrace, burying her face in his chest as M lead her to the bench. "Thank you, M. For understanding, for forgiving me."
"They sat together in the bench, wiping her tears away. Well maybe I just like taking care of you and my kids, no our kids." M said as he kiss her forehead.
Rinna wraps her arms around M neck, holding on tight. "And thank you for always taking care of us. You're an amazing husband and father."
Rinna lifts her head, looking into M eyes with a mix of love and gratitude. "I promise, when I get back to the future, I'll make things right. I'll be the wife you deserve, the partner you need." M flinched.
Rinna kisses M softly, pouring all her emotions into the kiss. "I love you, M. So much. And I'm so grateful to have this second chance with you."
Rinna rests her head on M shoulder, her body relaxing against his. "Let's just sit here for a while, okay? Just hold me and forget about the future for a little bit."
The day passes in a blur of laughter, kisses, and stolen moments. M took Rinna on a tour of his hometown, showing her all the places that hold significance in his life. She listens attentively, asking questions and asking and observing up every detail. They both stop for ice cream, feeding each other scoops and licking the excess off their fingers. They explored the park where M spent countless hours as a kid, pushing Rinna on the swings and stealing kisses in the shade of the trees. As the sun begins to set, M find himself back sitting in front of the ice cream truck[2], where they shared their first kiss.
Rinna:"This has been the best day of my life,"
after some time, M's face filled with surprised noticing it's already late. "Rinna it's late you should go home"
Rinna looked at M in confusion. "You should go home?, what do you mean, where are you going?"
M giggled, pinching her nose. "Oh, Rinna, sorry forgot to say I have a little sister that can't take care of herself, and mom isn't always at home, didn't you already know since we are together?"
Rinna laugh at M teasing pinch. "Oh, sorry, sorry." Then suddenly Rinna thought something, something brilliant. "Oh my love, what if you just go and Pick up your sister, and Let her live in my house."
She chuckle for a bit. "I mean 'our' house, you know" Rinna start to playfully Slide her finger around At M chest. "I only have 48 hours in here remember?" she pouts.
M kisses Rinna cheeks and stand up. Rinna standing up at the same time. "Oh I forgot about that, sure Rinna I'm just gonna go and Pick her up."
Rinna kiss M cheeks back, turning behind. "Hehe, okay M I'm gonna wait back at Home.
M watched Rinna walk away disappearing at park streetlight. Then M's remember something about the ice cream parlor. "Oh I FORGOT to pay!!!"
M's approach the ice cream parlor, nervously Looking at the vendor."Uh hey sorry uncle I forgot to pa-" the ice cream vendor suddenly talked making M pause. "Wow What a cute couple you are, Do you wanna buy some ice cream?"
"Huh?" M confuse, looked around and seeing he is The only one in there. "Uh what do you mean?." The ice cream vendor talked again. "Wow What a cute couple you are, Do you wanna buy some ice cream?"
M: "HUH?."
