It's been a week since Elara woke up and during that week, I can boldly say it was one of the best weeks of my life.
Elara and I spent our time talking, playing games and telling each other what we would like to do where we would like to go what we would like to eat when we go to those places and so on, I sometimes even told her about past event about me and El that I didn't put in her system.
it has been more than fun although I noticed something at times Elara would act oddly whenever I mentioned El it was just a brief display of emotion and at times I questioned myself if I saw right.
But I couldn't be wrong could I? it was almost as if she was angry but that couldn't be possible why would she be angry at El that was unbelievable.
in any case other than that odd behaviour everything was okay now we were planning on going out.
I know I said I would keep her hidden because of my fear of someone seeing her but Elara has been wanting to go out and I couldn't tell her no I have been giving excuses up until now.
But I have decided maybe its not that bad we could go to the less busy part of Helix and Elara and I would cover up well to avoid people who might know us from seeing us.
"Elara!"
I have been waiting here for the past one hour what on earth was she doing up stairs if it wasn't impossible I would have considered that she was giving birth up there.
"Coming" she yelled back and I couldn't help rolling my eyes that has been what I have been hearing all this time.
I sighed for the one hundredth time again checking my watch.
Seriously if...
Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by Elara's voice and I turned to face her only for my heart to skip a beat and my breathing to stop for a while.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting for so long" she said smiling.
"How do I look?" she said twirling for me to see everything.
I was quiet for a while trying to collect my thoughts before turning away from her the turning to face her again.
"Gorgeous" that was the only word I could come up with because she looked absolutely stunning.
She was putting on her black off shoulder gown with integrate patterns and a slit from her lap down it did well in showcasing her slender legs meanwhile her brown hair was packed in a bun and covered with a hat then she topped it all with a pair of sunglasses.
"You're looking quite good yourself" she said scanning me from head to toe I just gave her a sheepish smile.
Unlike Elara I was not wearing anything to outstanding just a pair of jeans and a shirt together with a face cap a ask and of course sunglasses like I said we didn't want too much attention but it seemed Elara didn't that part and I couldn't bring myself to tell her.
"Shall we go we have already spent a lot of time" she said bringing me back from my thoughts I gave her a curt nod and stood up.
"Lets go" I said raising my hands to intertwine with hers.
"Are you nervous" I asked as we headed outside for the garage where my car was parked.
This was the first time she will be going out since she woke up it would be understandable if she was a little bit nervous.
However she shook her head. "No just curious"
"Curious?" I asked bewildered.
"About what?" I asked again.
"Everything" she replied making me even more confused I was about to aske something else but we had already reached my car.
It was the newest model of AXIOM which was of course my creation .
Although the previous one wasn't made by me it was made by a science tech named Leo I think.
"WELCOME MR AXEL" a voice said as soon as I scanned my face then the car was unlocked.
I went to the other side of the car to open it and let Elara in to which she flashed me a smile in appreciation I reciprocated it before getting in myself.
"WHAT'S YOUR DESTINATION"
"Nova" I replied
"DESTINATION CONFIRMED SET TIGHT AND ENJOY YOUR DRIVE WE WILL BE THERE IN THREE HOURS" as soon as it said that the car started and soon drove off.
Nova was one of the famous tourist ground known for there great food I picked the place because of the good food and the fact that most of the people there would be foreigners and might not know Elara and I.
And also because that was the place El and I went to the memory I had of that place was not nice and I wanted to change that.
"Here packed some snacks" I said handing her the snacks I had previously packed in the car.
"Thanks" she replied and just nodded.
The rest of the drive was quiet everyone with their own thoughts at least occasionally you could hear munching sounds coming from Elara she had already finished all the snacks I packed before we reached Nova.
"YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR DESTINATION" was what I heard making me turn to look at Elara who was already looking at me with an excited expression on her face.
"Lets go" before i could finish she was already out of the car while urging me to hurry up.
"Calm down Elara the place will not magically disappear you know" I called coming out of the car as soon as I got out I was greeted with the sweet aroma of food.
Suddenly I was hungry. Okay maybe on second thought I should hurry up.
"Elara wait"
it took some time but I finally caught up with her.
"You're too fast" I said breathlessly.
"Maybe you're to slow" she replied smiling.
"Come on there is so much here" she said grabbing my hands.
Somehow I knew I was going to regret this.
Nova was as busy as always drones were flying about and occasionally you could see a space ship fly by it was probably agents who were done with their mission.
"Elara calm down we have all the time in the day" I whispered she just ignored me still looking around I just sighed and decided to go with the flow.
And soon enough we found a food store which was selling the famous Helix dish FEIJOADA which was prepared as bean stew with pork and beef.
That's how we spent our remaining time trying different dishes from KORMA to MANTI and so many others I totally lost count of how many dishes we have tried and how much time had passed.
"Axel what else should we try?"
"I'm still thinking" I replied looking around suddenly I froze.
Elara who was ahead of me stopped and turned to face me looking at me questionably.
"I didn't have time to answer that question in her eyes I quickly grabbed her hands running back to where I think the car was I think if we ran we would be able to get to the car in thirty minutes.
"Axel is everything alright?" I heard Elara say but right now there was only two things on my mind.
One, we have to get back home and Two why was El here?
