I immediately sprang in action grabbing the still confused El. "We need to leave here, now!" I yelled pulling her out of the room as soon as we left the room we heard a torrents of bullet being fired.
we bent trying not to get shoot. What the hell i thought she only wanted to kill El at this rate both El and i will end up dead.
I led her to a secret room i had equipped in mhy house in case of emergency they would be unable to find us here.
Behind us we could still hear bullets being fired it was a miracle they still haven't fired Korma or the others if they had this entire house would have been obliterated. It was at times like this i regreted making gadgets.
"Where are we going?" Elena asked she had been awefully quiet since this whole thing started.
"My workshop" i replied
"Won't they find us there?" she asked after staying quiet for a while.
"No" was all i said before we reached when we got to the door i put in an encrypted code then it went on to scan us.
"ACCESS DENIED"
"What the hell what do you mean by Access Denied" i half yelled repeating the same thing with a faint hope that i had put in the wrong code.
"ACCESS DENIED" it repeated again crushing the last hope i had.
"Axel what's going on? Why is it not opening? Have you forgotten the code?" i heard El voice followed by footsteps.
"Shit" I muttered hurriedly pulling her with me. The only place I could think of now was the basement.
"Ax.."
"THERE THEY ARE" we heard fastening our footsteps.
"Go go go" I said pushing El through the small pass way then followed behind as soon as we successfully went in I closed the door behind us pulling El close to me while we waited in silence our breath a little shaky.
"WHERE DID THEY GO"
"I DONT KNOW SIR"
"WHAT DO YPU MEAN BY YOU DONT KNOW DIDN'T YOU SAY YOUY SAW THEM"
"I DID AT LEAST I THINK I DID"
"GOSH WHY CANT I JUST GET ONE RELIABLE PERSON UNDER ME. SPREAD OUT WE MUST FIND THEM LORD KAIS ORDERS" we heard it seemed like a conversation between a boss and his underlings.
They were unable to find us that was good. but what the heck happened just a few moments ago why the hell did my work shop not open we could have died out there well at least El could.
"Umm Axel can you let go of me now" El said snapping me out of my thoughts that was when I realized I had been hugging her tightly I immediately let go letting out a few awkward cough.
"We are safe now" I said and she hummed. "For now" she replied and I couldn't agree more they didn't find us didn't mean they wouldn't find us later after all they were still here.
After a few minutes of awkward silence El finally broke it.
"Where is this?" she asked looking around or at least trying to everywhere was pitch black.
"The basement I think" I replied trying to find the light switch but ended up tripping from something I couldn't quite discern.
"Watch your steps" I warned El It will be a hassle if she ends up falling in this dark place.
"You think?" she repeated following closely behind me
"Found it" I muttered turning it on.
They weren't much to see here the whole place was filled with boxes I can understand why I tripped.
"What are in all this boxes they are a lot" El said again I couldn't agree more the funniest thing about this whole thing was that I couldn't even remember what was inside hell I couldn't even remember putting these many boxes here.
"I think we should turn off the light's so they won't know we are here" I said El thought for a while before nodding.
"Yeah, I think so too"
