Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: New family.

The four headed for the main door to the villa. It was a huge golden door with parts of expensive timber from expensive cedar trees. The art on the door and the designing of the handles was top notch. The two ladies looked on in awe as Matt pressed the buttons of the smart lock.

"Ding dong!," a bell rang and the door opened, sliding gently. It was a sliding two leaved door. As they were staring in anticipation, they were shocked to see their mom, Matt's family, all waiting for them. It was such a surprising sight that Fatmah thought she was in dreamland.

"Mom..!!!," called Fatmah in disbelief. She couldn't say much because of the surprise. The two starred one at another frozen; one not believing that her daughter has born a child, and the other not believing that her mom came to surprise and congratulate her on her first birth.

The two embraced for what seemed like an eternity before she came to Vanny.

"I knew you wouldn't disappoint me. I am so proud of you my daughter. Thank you for being there for your sister!," said the mother to the two sisters.

Vanny handed the baby to Fatmah and pulled her mom into a long passionate hug.

She said to her, "mom, thank you for coming!," sobbing softly with joy.

As they were still surprised by the presence of their mom, a voice called out, "where's the mother to my grandson, and where's my grandson? I want to see them now!" They turned to see a tall bald grey bearded old man. He was still strong though a bit old. His voice was deep and steady, which attracted all attention to him.

It was Vini Liko, the father to Matt Liko.

"Dad..!," Matt called out.

"Matt, where's my grandson and his mother? He's the only one I have and I doubt if I can rest without seeing him. My heart aches. I have had a great longing for him!," Vini Liko groaned.

Vini Liko had a great fortune but had only one child, Matt Liko. He put him in charge of almost every family business and made him the center of them all. He had said that his grandchildren would be heirs together with Matt. And they would receive equal portions of the inheritance.

Unfortunately for him, Matt had also not gotten a child to that day. He had a burning longing for at least one grandchild moreso, a grandson and his wish had become a reality.

Fatmah came closer to the old man and bowed herself in a way of showing respect and greeting the In-laws and elders.

"Don't be too formal my daughter," Vini Liko joked.

"Let me have a look at my grandson," he requested.

Fatmah handed him the baby and he played with him briefly before he started crying.

"He might be hungry! Here! Feed him first. He's even tired from the long journey," Vini said, handing Zee back to Fatmah.

"What name did you give him?," he asked.

"We called him Zee, Zee Liko," she responded warmly.

"Of course Zee Liko from the great Liko family," Vini Liko said, taking a seat.

Vanny came over and also bowed to the old man and greeted him respectfully.

"Have we met before?," Vini asked Vanny.

The question took her by surprise and she replied, "I.. don't think so, sir."

"Why the formalities???," I am your father, "call me dad! At least for this vacation, please!," Vini pleaded with them all.

"Except for your mom, the rest of you are my children, hahahaha.....," he said with great excitement.

They all laughed and rejoiced together. The Likos were a wealthy but small family. All they had were just close friends and few relatives. Many of the relatives were eaten and killed by the werewolf clan including Matt's mother; only a remnant had remained.

"Today is a day to rejoice!," Vini Liko declared, loud enough for all to hear, "I have been blessed with another child! Rejoice today and rest, tomorrow we shall have the celebrations opened officially," he continued.

Fatmah, Vanny and their mother, for the first time as a family felt at home with no worries and felt they belonged.

As they rejoiced, the door alarm rang, and the room went silent for a while.

"Matt, go and see who that is!," Vini told him.

Matt opened the door, and an old Asian firm short man stood at the entrance. Matt froze for a second, and the old man suddenly leaped at him, intending to catch him off guard. Matt responded swiftly and dodged all the man's moves.

The pair threw punches in rapid moves and the two seemed to be evenly matched. The people who were celebrating heard the commotion and came to see what was going on.

The sight shocked Fatmah who nearly fainted but was at the same time surprised that her husband was a skilled fighter of that caliber.

Vanny screamed to be in shock but to their surprise, when Vini Liko came by, he dismissed the scene as though it was nothing.

"Dad...!," Fatmah found herself calling at Vini Liko. She was also surprised but Vini Liko was surprised the more that he gave her his whole attention. His eyes became watery with tears and asked her, "my daughter, what's the problem?"

"Why have you dismissed the matter of Matt being attacked? Aren't you worried that he may be hurt?," she asked, with a concerned look.

But as they were busy attending one to another, almost nobody noticed Matt overpowering the old skilled man.

He pinned him on the ground, rendering him harmless, forcing him to surrender.

The old man tapped thrice on Matt's hand and the two men stood up.

They embraced in a very lovely way that brought more confusion to the onlookers.

"You have lost your speed and focus!, the old man said to Matt.

"You have also lost your strength!," Matt challenged him.

Matt took two steps back and bowed thrice to the old man. "Master Yamato, thank you for coming!," he said

The old man bowed once to him and said, "young master, thank you for coming home!"

"Am I still careless about my son, daughter?," Vini Liko asked Fatmah, chuckling.

Master Yamato came and bowed, twice, before Vini Liko, who also bowed twice.

"Thank you for coming to see my new family and also celebrate with us!," Vini Liko thanked him. "Only that you are starting to lose it," he joked.

"Yeah, I think I need to go back in seclusion for a month to charge up," master Yamato said, picking up a glass of cocktail at the table. "But let's first celebrate the newborn," he continued.
