For a moment. Just a tiny second, Sunshine poked her head out of the window of her truck. For some reason, she had a feeling that she had missed something.
She did not get to dwell on it much because Nimo tugged on her arm. "We need to put out the fires. Are we using water or do you have something fancy that we can use?"
"Fancy." Sunshine settled back in the truck. She waved her hand, and a fire extinguisher appeared.
Nimo rolled her eyes. "That is not fancy."
"It is not what is on the outside that matters, it is what is inside it." Sunshine replied mysteriously.
Nimo parked the truck beside debris. Meanwhile, work on restoring and securing the territory was already ongoing.
Commander Grayson, tall and disciplined as always, barked orders as his squad undertook the task of installing the bubble around the town. It would connect to the walls of other towns that were part of Fortress four territory.
They worked quickly, pumping the gallons and installing the glue.
