Confusion pooled in her eyes. More eggs? There are more eggs. No wonder they had me sign a non-disclosure agreement, Sunshine thought. They were trying to repopulate in secret.
She thought about how much she was going to make from repairing all the eggs they had. Probably enough to afford a brand-new weather under suit. Perhaps she would even buy that silly ridiculously expensive Lulupod which she did not need but still wanted anyway even though she never allowed herself to admit this.
Sunshine backed away from Asgeda and smiled like a businesswoman. "Why not? I have no problem with repairing all of them, just have my gold ready. We should sign an agreement first."
Asgeda's face twisted. His hand moved faster than she expected, pulling a small red and black gun from his pocket. The weapon was pointed at sunshine. "You think that this is a negotiation? You will fix them as commanded." He said, voice sharp as ice. "And forget about the payment."
Sunshine froze. "Excuse me!"
