Nimo seemed to have forgotten the rules of the apocalypse which Sunshine had taught her. The rule about not dating fools was a personal one, but the one about not trusting super humans, that was a general one.
As with anything, there was good and bad, so there were some good super humans. Most were neutral and Sunshine had been in the neutral zone.
But, before deciding if a super human could be trusted or not, one needed to be very careful. If she had known Carson Warnock in the apocalypse, that would make it easy to decide but she never heard of him.
"He is here!" Sunshine dragged Nimo with her to the elevator. This is not a conversation that they could have out in public. "Shh." She asked Nimo to keep quiet.
Nodding Nimo followed Sunshine to the topmost floor, the penthouse suit that had turned into Sunshine and Hades's home. The children also lived with them up there. Access was only granted to occupants.
