Chapter 354 - Chapter 356: Stirred Hearts of the Extraordinary

Foggy pressed on.

"The most important thing is, if you can join this superhero team, you'll be able to help more people."

That line struck Matt deeply.

"Help… more people…"

Foggy nodded.

"Exactly. Help more people. Changing Hell's Kitchen completely wouldn't be impossible."

Matt finally asked,

"Foggy, what should I do?"

Seeing Matt give in, Foggy smiled.

"You'll need to put on your Daredevil suit, record a campaign video, and upload it to the website the Red Ribbon Group built for the creation of their superhero team."

Matt nodded.

"Foggy, looks like I'll need your help with this."

Foggy nodded back. Recording such a video alone would indeed be tough.

"Seems I'll have to tag along with you on your nightly crusades for a while."

The superhero team craze even reached Wakanda.

Shuri approached her brother.

"Brother, are you going to apply for this superhero team? The Red Ribbon Group's CEO is Eddie Brock, the host of the last Dragon Ball tournament. Behind him is surely the League of Assassins."

T'Challa, after witnessing the power of outsiders firsthand, had already longed to step into the wider world. The team appealed to him—he wanted to be part of it.

"Shuri, Father won't agree. You know what he fears."

Shuri raised her brow.

"Brother, did you even ask him?"

T'Challa fell silent, then shook his head.

"Then you can't know," Shuri said, tugging his arm toward the palace.

Before long, they stood before King T'Chaka and Queen Ramonda.

T'Chaka looked at his children curiously.

"You've both come together. What is it?"

Shuri spoke up.

"Father, Eddie Brock, the host of the Dragon Ball tournament, has founded the Red Ribbon Group. They're recruiting extraordinary individuals for the world's first superhero team. I think T'Challa should join."

The King turned to his son.

"Is this your wish?"

T'Challa nodded firmly.

"Yes, Father. I want to join."

T'Chaka's heart was heavy. He knew what the outside world was like. Wakanda's vast vibranium reserves were a secret they had guarded for centuries. If the truth came out, enemies beyond imagination would descend. Already he had rejected Ivan Vanko's offers, claiming Wakanda had no more vibranium, that even the Black Panther suit was all they had left.

"T'Challa, Shuri—you know what would happen if we were exposed. If the world discovered our mines, we would drown in danger."

Before T'Challa could respond, Shuri interjected.

"Father, we were already exposed during the Dragon Ball tournament. And among the competitors, our strength was among the weakest."

"That's why my brother must go. Joining this superhero team would let him build allies, create bonds. That would protect us. Because right now, we're isolated. When trouble comes, we'll stand alone. But if my brother is their comrade, no one will dare move against us."

Her words were not wrong. In another world, T'Challa's place in the Avengers made nations hesitate to challenge Wakanda—until his death.

T'Chaka thought deeply.

Ramonda spoke softly at his side.

"T'Chaka, I agree with our daughter. The outside world is stronger than we imagined. We need allies."

At last, the King relented.

"T'Challa, you may compete for a place in this superhero team. But Wakanda's vibranium and our true face must remain hidden."

"Yes, Father!" T'Challa said, thrilled. He glanced at Shuri, who answered with a mischievous grin.

Elsewhere, Danny Rand, the Iron Fist, had returned from K'un-Lun to New York. With the Hand destroyed, he reclaimed Rand Enterprises, overcoming many obstacles to seize his parents' legacy.

Though restored as a billionaire, Danny was far more interested in the life of a hero. When news spread of the superhero team draft, he recorded a video and submitted his application.

At S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy, the fire-wielder Chen Haoran and the ice-user Nigel, under Coulson's direction, also recorded their audition videos.

They weren't alone. Hidden extraordinaires across the world, inspired by the media storm, began sending in applications. Ordinary citizens suddenly realized there were far more superhumans among them than they had ever imagined.

The fever for the superhero team only burned hotter.

Meanwhile, within Ta Lo, Ying Li finished her purification rituals and descended into the lake to seek the Guardian Dragon.

Whether by fate or curiosity at her resurrection, the Guardian Dragon appeared.

Seeing her struggling to hold her breath beneath the waters, the Dragon granted her its blessing once more, reigniting her Dragon's Heart.
