Hearing how quickly his son-in-law had found a lead, Chief Cai was satisfied. If Cui Jie weren't truly capable, he would never have been allowed to marry his daughter.
"Cui Jie, once you find the uploader, protect him. And be careful—you and Tad both. If someone deleted that footage, it means the uploader's identity has probably leaked. The other side may already be moving to silence him. Be ready to fight if you have to."
"Yes, Dad. I understand."
After the call ended, Tad swallowed nervously.
"Cui Jie, I… I didn't hear anything I shouldn't have, right?"
Cui looked at him seriously.
"Ade, I trust you. We have dirty cops in the force. We're going to drag them out this time."
Tad clenched the wheel, furious.
"I swear, I'll help you. Corrupt cops disgust me. They stain all of us."

Less than an hour later, the crooked cop Ah Bin was dragged before the Assassin Brotherhood.
The moment Li Zhongzhi saw him, his rage boiled over. He charged forward, fists pounding. Ah Bin collapsed under the blows, his face covered in blood.
"Why did you take my daughter? Why? Do you have children, do you have a family?! Where is she?!"
But even beaten half to death, Ah Bin kept his mouth shut. Saying nothing gave him a sliver of hope. Speaking would mean certain death.
Selene stepped forward.
"Enough. Let me handle it."
She crouched down, touched the man's blood, and brought it to her lips. At once, a flood of memories surged into her mind—disjointed scenes, vile deeds flashing one after another like a movie reel. Her face twisted with disgust, but she pressed on until she found what she needed: Ah Bin delivering Li's daughter to a shack, handing her over to an organ trafficking ring.
Her eyes snapped open.
"He took your daughter. She's being held by an organ harvesting group. I know the address. We move now. He's useless."
She turned to leave.
Li froze, stunned. Was this the power of the extraordinary? Before he could process it, Eddie Brock brushed past—Venom erupting from his body. In one snap, Ah Bin's head was gone.

Meanwhile.
Chief Cai received another call from his son-in-law. His expression darkened as he learned Tad had been killed during the protection mission—shoved off a rooftop while shielding a child.
Cai's fists clenched. Tad had been one of his most promising officers, second only to Cui Jie. And now, because of this filth…
When he hung up, he immediately dialed Yuan Zhongzhi of the Bangkok Brotherhood.
"Mr. Yuan. We've uncovered leads on Li Zhongzhi's daughter. We even lost a good officer to it. She's in the hands of an organ trafficking group. They're hiding behind a slaughterhouse in the suburbs. Outwardly it's pigs—they're cutting people inside. I suggest you act immediately. I'll push for a SWAT operation, but red tape will slow us. I'll send you the address."
Yuan agreed at once.
"Good. We already had hints. Thank you, Chief Cai. We'll move." He paused, then added with a dry chuckle, "Oh, by the way. Your mole was Ah Bin. Don't expect him back. We already dealt with him. You're welcome."
Cai ended the call and exhaled heavily. He'd warned quickly, and at least now the Brotherhood had the same target. And the mole in his own house was gone. All that remained was to leverage his contacts, mobilize SWAT, and ride the wave of this coming storm.

Elsewhere.
Zheng Hanshou, the mayor's secretary, chose not to wait. The mayor's heart was failing—time was running out. That very night, Zheng went to the shack where Li's daughter was held, drugged and bound. He stuffed her into his trunk and drove into the night.
The girl was unconscious. Helpless.
The destination: a slaughterhouse outside the city, controlled by mercenary Chris. To the world it processed pigs. In truth, it was a butcher's shop for people, supplying fresh organs to the powerful. For years Zheng had maintained this deal—cash for protection, and a steady flow of replacements for the elites.
Tonight, the mayor's new heart waited inside. Zheng had to oversee the extraction personally. Six hours—that was the limit for a living heart outside the body. He would watch the girl die, then carry the organ straight to the operating table.
Unaware of this, Selene and the others arrived at the shack soon after. They swept inside—empty.
But then John Wick noticed a damaged floorboard. Li Zhongzhi yanked it free, and a hidden cellar gaped open beneath their feet.
