“Princess.”
“What is it?” Evangelin said, lifting her head and looking innocent as she had been engrossed in a thick book.
“Are you really asking me that?” Kylion appeared dumbfounded. There were talon marks all over his arms.
“Do you want ointment?” Evangelin responded innocently, but her reddish-brown eyes held a hint of genuine concern.
Kylion let out a sigh, realizing that keeping Evangelin around was more challenging than he had anticipated. At first, she seemed to try to hide the monsters that came and went from her room, likely out of consideration for him. However, her room eventually became cluttered and filled with traces of monsters, sometimes emitting an unpleasant smell.
She eventually put less and less effort into hiding the monsters that visited her room until she reached a point where she outright demanded food for them—food enough to feed ten grown men.
