“Setta seems to be doing better than I expected,” Apollonia remarked with a smile, gazing at her reflection in the mirror.
Adrianne replied while brushing her hair, “Despite not having had the best education, she has remarkable intelligence in some aspects.”
“Well, she’s definitely no ordinary person if she managed to make Petra Liepherr feel anxious. How did she like the gift?”
“Oh, she definitely appreciated it. I could tell she understood its value,” Adrianne confirmed.
Satisfied, Apollonia nodded. “Stay in touch with her, but be cautious not to overdo it. We need to tread carefully as we work on breaking down the trust between Father and Aunt Petra.”
“I am aware, Your Highness,” Adrianne replied.
With Apollonia’s hair now brushed, Adrianne was about to leave, but then she recalled something and produced a letter.
