When our eyes met, his widened, and he looked away.
"What happened to you?" I asked, moving closer, but he kept his gaze averted.
"Celeb," I called, but he still wouldn't look at me.
"Celeb?" I said again, grabbing his chin. "Look at me," I demanded, and he finally met my eyes.
"Who beat you? Who did this to you? Our class teacher has been worried; she asked me to talk to you," I said, but he stayed silent.
