"Do you know that Thatcher has been unconscious for days now?"
"Thatcher has been unconscious for days? Why? What happened to him?" I asked, growing both curious and anxious.
"Your mates didn't tell you anything about him."
"They did; they said he traveled home because their father was seriously sick."
The woman groaned and shot a glare at Julian and Logan. "You lied to her? Why didn't you tell her the truth? You should have come clean from the start. You were the ones who made things complicated. Don't you care about your lives?" she yelled.
"And even if you don't care about your lives, do you want your brother to die?"
Hold on, what is she implying? Is she saying Thatcher is in a dangerous condition?
"I don't understand, is Thatcher in a critical condition?" I implored.
She turned her attention to me. "He is. He's in a dangerous condition, and he might not last long."
"Is he going to die?" I gasped.
