Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Getting to Know the World

I end up letting go of the poster of the shark girl who once reminded me of my old friend and past life, in which I struggled so much to stay alive in the beginning and died in the end to protect my brother.

"Okay, after remembering all those moments... the next step now is to discover everything else this world has to offer."

Going down the stairs, my home was even a little sophisticated... since in the ninja era you didn't see a sofa that turned into a bed or a refrigerator with a technological panel that talks to you.

Everything was very modern, something I would learn to use as I lived in this house. The furniture and utensils were really valuable, and the rooms, such as the bathroom, kitchen, garage, guest room, and main garden, were also very organized... it was as if someone had bought this house for me.

"But in reality, it was only the God of transmigration who ended up offering me all this... and I am still an ordinary citizen who does not have the vital energy to perform techniques yet."

- ERRRRIT...

With the sound of the door slowly opening, I carefully observe what was outside... but before I left the house, I needed to use an item first using the Uchiya Panel, and it was of very attractive value.

A tab that can only be unlocked by a hidden mission? What a strange system... well, I won't get stuck on this question now.

[Inventory]

- 2x Free Domino's Pizza

- 1x Kaho Hinata Services for 1 Day at the current residence registered in the system.

- 1x Kento Nanami Suit (Color Version: Red and Black + Black Shoes) ←

- 1x Pass for residential change

The suit ends up right in front of me, leaning and lying on the living room sofa with a hanger carefully holding the garment.

"Now I'll be in good style, who would have thought."

After a few minutes of getting changed in my room, I walk back to the front door, open it... and discover the surroundings through my eyes.

The place was very different from what I had imagined it would be; times were different. There wasn't just one group that determined our clan; everything was open and very welcoming... as if there were neighbors with different tastes and ways of living.

There were houses around that varied between modern and Western styles, with small trees and bushes all around... so everyone had a different taste in housing, making the environment much more distinctive.

"This is a kind of modern village then, how cozy and peaceful..." I said as my eyes turned to the clear blue morning sky. "From the leaf village to the modern world, who would have thought."

"What city am I stepping into? I don't know if the system can tell me that..."

Suddenly, my system panel appeared in front of my face, showing the name of the city, hemisphere, country, and the time where I am now.

- Ring... Ring... Ring...

Something was shaking in my pocket. When I took it out, it was an object with glass in the middle that was glowing with a small white apple in the middle of the screen.

Below that small apple was a name that read "Apple.inc"... Apparently, it's a valuable device because it has a very tasty fruit.

"How do you turn this on? I thought it was so beautiful that I left it in my pocket to see if it would be useful... Is it like using a computer?" I asked myself as I clicked on the middle of the glass screen, which remained on the same screen with the apple.

"Huh? What is he doing with that cell phone?" A slightly robotic female voice asked as she watched my hands shake the cell phone I was holding.

She approaches me with a friendly expression and greets me with a typical neighborly greeting.

"Hi, young man, are you new in this area?" She asked, looking at me. Her hair was long with green highlights that accentuated her two large pigtails on the sides.

"Yes, I've lived here for a while. Why are you looking at me like that?"

She gave a little cough that was clearly fake, and with a small smile, she pointed her index finger at my cell phone.

"It looks like it's your first time using a touchscreen phone, right?"

Her question was spot on. I didn't know how to use such a device, so she offered to help me understand how to use the main features, such as making calls, sending messages, emails, and much more.

Each instruction was clearly explained by this girl, so that I would have no doubts about how to use it on a daily basis.

An hour passed and her lesson was over. She handed me my cell phone and we got up from the wooden bench where we had been sitting side by side.

"I'll make good use of this. Thank you for your instructions, young lady."

After thanking her in a flattering tone, I pointed my right hand at her and she squeezed my left hand in a friendly gesture of gratitude.

"You're welcome, I hope you don't have any questions later! By the way... my name is-"

"Aaaaah! It's Hatsune Miku?! You're here, I'm your fan!!"

A scream from afar was approaching us, it was a random young girl with great enthusiasm passing by the street where we were.

"My God, I didn't even have time to greet you and a crazy fan already shouted my name... I'm so sorry."

Hatsune looked embarrassed, but also cute in this situation... she wanted to say her name politely without anyone interrupting her.

"It's okay, don't apologize... we couldn't have predicted an approach like this in such a quiet place, could we?" I replied with a small smile as I waited for her to pay attention to that fan.

However, when the fan approached her pointing at a photo of her dressed in what appeared to be a work outfit... her right middle finger began to turn into smoke.

"Huh? What did she do?"
