She stared at the pitchfork in Cassias' hand with a dazed look on her face. Originally, she had thought that she would never find her weapon again.
She had secretly gone to Pure Heart Lake, but she couldn't find it. Colonel James and Captain Dalton also told her there was no pitchfork in the octopus monster's carcass when they cleaned the lake.
So, she simply thought that it had sunk to the bottom of the lake. Unexpectedly, it had been with Cassias all this time.
Tilting her head, she asked in surprise, "You took it out of the octopus monster's body?"
"Yes, sorry, I almost forgot to return it to you," Cassias said earnestly.
"It's nothing." She waved her hand. From her space, she had taken out a whip to deal with zombies or other dangers; more areas had been unlocked.
Zombies were easier to deal with, though; she could just command them to stop and then kill them. Although she had advanced to level four, her range and time of zombie control were still limited.
