She was sleeping in her hotel room, which she rented with her card. Unfortunately, her room can only last for a month.
Her nap appeared relaxing, as she snores, accompanied by insignificant dreams.
The material of the Hotel was vintage-brown with a classic feeling. Dating back many centuries. For many centuries, it still retained its own unique antique that feels welcoming.
The female has been enjoying her nap in the bed, enjoying the leisure, the amenities, the air conditioning. A low hum noise could be heard in the background.
As the night went on, there wasn't anything significant really happening.
Suddenly, she sees herself hugging her favorite toy, a bear, a really cute bear, she remembers hugging while her eyes are closed. She even thought it was a bear when she was a toddler in a laboratory of some sort.
As she hugged her teddy bear, eyes fully closed, she even thought it was her real-life friend.
As she shut her eyes, hugging the bear, she opened them, seeing a figure.
It was a tall guy with normal hair, about 6 feet. He had black hair whose eye pigment was dark brown. Ava could instinctively tell that it was her father; she and the figure stared at each other.
He was wearing eyeglasses, and he wasn't particularly good-looking, but the nerdy kind, holding a notepad of sorts in his hand.
Ava could feel the presence of the figure, but he wasn't saying anything at all, as if he was analyzing Ava's mannerisms like a computer logging behaviors.
"Unacceptable…." he muttered to himself without even displaying aggressive behavior in his body language.
The father mumbled to himself, "Subject-01 displayed levels of viable attachment to a child's toy."
"Required for more testing, prescription of greater emphasis in cognitive performance than emotional development"
He scribbles texts in his notepad before walking away, leaving Ava as a child holding a teddy bear, while Ava watches the figure walk away.
She then said to the teddy bear, "Could you be my friend?" holding the toy to herself. Ava held the bear; she even wondered if she and her father ever interacted.
She even fooled herself into thinking that the cute, fluffy bear she was holding could see her feelings and emotions.
Even if it was made in the factory, as imaginations sprang forth from her mind, she hugged the bear.
The memory was so sealed that Ava could not recall that it was sewn to her for a need for individuality. She knows that through some magic, she was given a pass for a normal life while being a droid.
And she is going to find those experiences and discover her crucible at the cost of her life and her own dignity.
All at the expense of being more, and the adverse events that will follow. She declared to her subconscious.
The dream begins to fade, the cloudy dark mist surrounds the scene where Ava slowly wakes up in her bed, her head looking at the windows with curtains that flutter like a sink, its movements tortuous as they go zigzag.
Ava stood up and checked her phone, "It's 8 a.m."
Ava prepared herself, her nightgown still being worn by her even after sleep. She went to the restroom and did hygienic cleaning, even taking care of herself. She first brushes her teeth and gargles water.
She leaned her torso as she looked at the mirror, seeing a reflection of a heart-shaped face with her eyes getting more blacker and blacker, with remaining green in the iris, appreciating the little flawless nature of her face. She got off the bed, stretching herself, and then went to the exit of the door.
Locking it with her hotel card, Ava entered the high-speed elevator and descended to the first floor.
As soon as she arrived on the first floor, she went to the dining area, picked up some bacon, synthetic food, and even juice, as she placed them on the plate and picked her place at the table. As she began to chew, Ava ate her food. It was her day being alone.
No one but herself, Ava, takes a look at herself in the very little reflection on the plane while eating. She cannot see it as a whole, but she can perceive it.
Ava continued eating, while she planned on going back to this laboratory for this special training.
Soon enough, she finished her recess. She stood up, signalling the waiter that she was done, and walked off to the elevator, and headed to her room, preparing her clothes.
"I don't have a proper resume… and I need to learn to make money, at least I do have skills and capabilities for the job."
"I do hope I get my job, it's important to me."
She is seen in the bathroom, making her blouse chic, clean, and proper, showering herself to ensure her face is flawless and clean, without a single mark on her face.
She even leans her face towards the bathroom's mirror to judge the aesthetics of her face, where she retracts her torso and starts grooming her hair with focus.
"What matters now is survival. I need to dress well and look good. Even if I end up getting unnecessary attention", she declared, looking at her flawless face in the mirror.
"Tribulations, conflict, isolation. Hah! Meaningless worries, just be ready to face them. Coward"
While fashioning herself in a working attire of a chic blouse that she hung inside the bathroom
As Ava finished, she exited her door, locking it. She went outside the Elysium Hotel, used her phone, searched up the website, and found the contact number of the research facility. She dialed up the number and now awaits them to receive the transmission.
For a minute, they hadn't answered her call, and this lingered for almost 10 minutes, until the call was answered, and communication was established between the two.
Ava made her initials and asked through the phone, "Hello, is this Genesis Innovation? May I have a job interview on my behalf?"
The operator on the other side of the phone echoed, "Of course, should I schedule the job interview?"
Ava's voice was enraptured, "Yes, I have this other special card that can give me access, and its code is 'DecryptTotheNewRace'"
Ava looked at her card, handed down by her mother. For a while, it was silent before the operator responded with, "Hello, Miss, I have processed the code that you have given me, and it was considered valid. Please proceed to await your interview around 4:00."
Ava celebrated as she launched her fist up in the air, with her eyes closed as she savoured the moment. Eventually, her fist fell.
